Very happy to recommend this hotel after a lovely fortnight stay. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very comfortable and a great location for skiing. Wonderful choice for breakfast and tasty 5 course dinner menu.

Way to expensive for the food we had! We visitted the restaurant with a group of 40 people (We reserved before). The meal was not enough, they couldnt bring us more because they didnt have any more food in the kitchen. We payed 29 euro for not even a full plate, this is a big disapointment, they just wanted our money not a nice evening for us. The plate on the picture was for 5 people.

We stayed in February 7 nights at the Klausen. The Hotel is not on a "new modern or tradiiional standard" seems that is is out of the 80th. Rooms are big enought, and very clean. The small swimming pool was overc.... by childen. No chance to relax after a active day. The strong smell of chlorine is usually already in the hotel lobby to smell. The dining / breakfast room was carelessly decorated and reminiscent of a canteen. Loud and very busy. The staff was stressed and unbalanced and did not give the impression that the guest is welcome. Main thing to be done. So we were able to pursue a loud argument of the staff in the evening. One night we were served by the daughter of the owner and here everything went well. Friendly, attentive, courteous and helpful. Too bad she was not there more often. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, we have the feeling that the large overview is missing and it went wrong due to the level of detail. We missed the overall view. When we travel to Austria, we are always looking forward to a fresh hearty and local cuisine. But this hotel kitchen has often disappointed us. The food was partly dry or cold as it was probably a long time already finished and only waiting for the call. No change at the salad buffet, no special dinner or fondue or greeting .... All in all .. you can be full but the enthusiasm and love is missing. The breakfast buffet was good, although the egg dishes not freshly prepared. The location is great in terms of the ski lift. 200 mtr. away. We can only thank for the friendly staff and care in the bar. Especially Albano always friendly, courteous and courteous and has at least the evenings saved. It should be pointed as 3* not as 4* hotel.

Just returned from a week at the Klausen and have nothing negative to say about our stay. All the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely hard-working. Our room was clean and warm with plenty of storage space. The food was delicious, 4 courses for dinner plus a daily salad buffet. Each evening there was a choice of 3 main courses including 1 vegetarian option. Children were well catered for with their own buffet which had several options. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice including scrambled and boiled eggs plus bacon. Our favourite was the Bircher muesli. There was a wide variety of rolls and bread. The pool is small but adequate for children to have fun in, also for children there's a football table and toys. The ski hire shop was next door, so very convenient. Just a short walk across the car park and you're at the ski lift. Opposite the hotel were cleared paths to Kitzbhuel and Kirchberg. The snow was fantastic and we were able to ski back to the hotel. A bus stop right outside the hotel is handy if you want to go to a different ski area. All in all a very enjoyable stay..... we're already thinking about next year!!

It really should be a 3* + as opposed to 4*. But the staff are friendly, the hotel is very clean and the food is acceptable. The facilities of a pool and spa are small and adequate. The sauna is a reasonable size but the steam room is very small and the pools is best for just easing out tiered mussels. The bed rooms are basic but warm, clean and the beds are comfortable. They are also a reasonable size. It worked out well for just two friends going skiing for a couple of days and while we initially opted for half-board we decided to eat out after the first night at local good restaurants. That said the food is grand and we had a decent weiner-schnitzel the night we ate there. The owners are helpful and pleasant and I would recommend it on a budget or if you are more interested in skiing than pampering! The location is great in terms of the ski lift (Fleckalmbahn)being next door as is the local ski rental shop and a ski school. Ski buses serve just outside the door but this hotel is not in a town so you need to get a bus or taxi to anywhere else like Kitzbuhel or Kirchberg.

Great hotel - really friendly staff, comfortable rooms with character and excellent food. Ample parking just outside for the hire car. They have a pool & sauna too. The lift is 100 metres away and you can ski home.

Stayed here last week for four nights as I was taking part in a mountain bike event. The hotel might not be the Ritz but... Room was super clean and comfortable. Nice shower room with loads of hot water. Drying room downstairs for wet kit. The staff washed and dried my race kit twice without asking. Bar and restaurant were pleasant. Evening meals were very good and tasty and a really good breakfast choice. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and interested in what were doing. Very close to the gondola hall for biking or skiing. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my family (2 young children) for a full week. The location is great across the parking lot from the Fleckalmbahn gondola and with the plus to be able to ski right back to the hotel. Ski rental and ski school are next door so everything in one place! The hotel is nice, room reasonably large, comfortably and clean. Pool is small but large enough for the kids to splash around and have fun. Steam room and sauna also great. Breakfast and dinner really good, plenty of choices mixed with tradional dishes. Kids loved the buffet with different option every night. Staff super nice and very welcoming. I have no reservation in recommending this hotel and i am seriusly thinking to rebook it myself for next year... only negative, now i have to tell my wife that she was right when she suggested this place :)

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and sky club friends (more than 50 people) for a short ski trip. As written in other report, the location was great, literally across the parking lot from the Fleckalmbahn gondola...you can ski right back to the hotel. Ski rental and ski school are also next door. (Unfortunately no snow in that period so the gondola was closed) The hotel was nice but the rooms, expecially the first night, was cold (that is no good in winter after sking) Pool was small and cold and the spa consist in one sauna (good) and one steaming bath (very small). unfortunatly the relaxing area is not divided from the pool so lot of noise there. there is also a small gym. dinner and breakfast was ok, even if the waitress was a kind of rude.
