Just back from a 5 day skiing trip in Kirchberg, Austria, staying in the Hotel Alexander. The hotel is centrally located, on the surrounding streets, you will find bars and restaurants, shops and a supermarket. The ski bus stop is a 2 minute walk with a ski shop along the way for any gear you might need. We had a... More

The room and bed were perfect! We have been in hotels for much of the last six months, and this was the most comfortable room and bed! Very family friendly, we have an infant. We almost didn't stay due to some reviews. If there was ever a problem, it has been fixed. The staff was excellent, friendly, and professional. Eileen,... More

The staff serve in main restaurant also so are run ragged. little bar is nice Isabella runs a.tight ship and has quirky wit. Well, I would put it between average and very good, so good. Rooms have been newly renovated, bed is comfortable. However, the bathrooms still need work, the shower would fill up around my feet when I was showering and I was in 4 inches of water by the end of the shower. Bathrooms are very tiny. One staff member who... More

We spent a fantastic weekend in this hotel, the staff were very friendly and went out of there way to go the extra mile to ensure we were happy. Our room was lovely and was kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff. We enjoyed great food and one evening an exceptional fish soup which would have graced any top class restaurant.... More

We used this hotel as a base for a ski trip. Its central location in the town beside ski school, and the meeting point for most people was ideal. If there is good snow you can ski back to the centre of town and finish up just accross the river from the hotel. We found the service from staff pleasant... More

Larger groups of guests with crowds of kids that feel apparently at home, meaning the kids use the hallways to play and are extremely noisy. The same applies to breakfast and dining room, meaning that romantic dinner or dinner with friends is not really what you might be expecting in terms of recreational atmosphere. The hotel owners do not really... More

We booked this on the basis of, "Ah well, it's only a boys' skiing trip, so what if it's a bit ropey" - but in fact, it's way better than the negative reviews suggest. It's easily the best (and certainly best value) place we've stayed, and I'd definitely go back with the family. The rooms are big, it's clean and... More

Having read the reviews some people had left(well 3 actually) i was concerned as to what we were going to, however it was brilliant. The hotel is placed centrally in the town and a bus stop right outside for the pistes. The bedrooms are great, warm, clean and big with balcony's. Brand new bathrooms were very modern. The restaurant had... More
