I recently had my wedding reception at the magnificent Schloss Velden. My grandmother was Austrian so there was a family link to the area. To say the hotel, facillities and staff were beyond superb is an understatement. This is the 1st time i have ever written a review but felt this hotel and staff should get the praise they deserve.... more

I have to say that the Capella Schloss Velden is located beautifully on the Shores of Lake Wörthersee and has been newly renovated, with no expense spared. It does not fit into the low-profile, working class neighborhood it is located in, however. As a result, the building does live up to contemporary standards. That, however, goes just for the building.... more

We stayed at this property because we have learned about Capella and wanted to see what thier " standards" would be. We were absolutely , positively amazed at our experience. The facilities are incredible. I am in the construction industry and they spared no expense in delivering the highest quality facility with the highest quality of finishes ( marble bathroom's,... more
