For those of you who don't want to read the whole review, in summary: save your money and book somewhere else if you are thinking of staying on this lovely island. The photos shown here are no accurate representation of what you will actually get upon arrival. The beach is the only upside in this resort. We stayed here for... More

This is a long and detailed review, so let me summarize up things for you, in case you don’t want to read the whole thing: you will get a terrible service and facilities from an ho(s)tel that uses location to overcharge guests. Don't get fooled, Sai Kaew beach is a very crowded location, where the constant noise from speedboats and... More

As we came from the poorly equipped Samed Ville resort, we wanted to give oursleves one of a lifetime experience by taking the Ocean suites at 8000 baht per night. Well the service is far from first class and they should stay with the 3000 baht class of bungalow you rent to Russian families! Fullstop!

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. We had booked 2 x Superior room. We got keys of "standard room" and it was anything like we had seen from photos about Superior room when we did the booking. For example, the room was crowded by moskitos, very bad smell, very old furnitures,, with no any view etc. We complained and... More

This hotel is right on the beach and offers a good standard of mixed accommodation. We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each room. It was a little tight and one had to sleep on a makeshift bed on the floor. As dad I had the short straw so was in recovery for the first hour after waking up... More

My wife and I stayed in the superior garden view room on the second floor although it is classed as third floor. The room had a spacous bathroom and modern room with A/C, fridge,TV, tea/coffee making, all worked ok.Spacious balcony we were at the end so had a slight view of the sea.The room was cleaned each day, clean towels and... Booked 2 Thai Cottages, as our Friends had never been to Koh Samet before & we thought it would be something different for them, rather than a normal Hotel room. Hotel organised to have 2 Cottages joined together, which was very good for us all & worked well. Breakfast adequate & covers options for most peoples tastes. Straight out of... More

I was saved by this resort because I had originally booked a few hotels down at a terrible hotel and the next day I walked the beach and ran into this resort which had a room open that night so I could switch. It was clean and my room was really big and very nice. The staff was friendly and... More

Stayed 3 nights in the new wing room 4 (I think). Room very spacioues, very "chick", good shower, fridge, bed and telly. This was a garden view room with a lousy garden outside. 4000 Tbh/ night in low season is to much. Breakfast bad due to staff more interrested in their "Facebook" than customers. Same during daytime and evening!!!! No... More

we had a quick 2 nights getaway from our home in Pattaya. Koh Samet seemed to be a good choice, close by , nice beaches. The hotel looked good on the web. We stayed in a Thai Style bungalow with beach view. The room was,s some other post already mentioned, full of mosquito's. Nothing what a can of spray could... More
