I strung up a hammock on the front deck, read, watched the people walking by and the waves crashing just 20 yards away. The Pudsa/Tub Tim beach is quiet with small, nice waves, a diving platform you can swim out to and a few chairs (for rent). We had an ensuite fan bungalow with mini fridge right next to the... More

if you want really good thai or western food, for normal prices go to ao pudsa bungalow/restaurant. it is quiet, no blaring bar music, your feet in the sand, hear and see the waves, relaxed atmosphere. we stayed here 10 days and loved it. the bungalows vary between cheap fan and new ac, some have sea view, but are mostly... Visited here for a romantic getaway for two in February 2013. This place definitely looked better in the photos but I'll say this straight away, you get what you pay for. As the title states, if you want something very basic, have a fantasy about a secluded bungalow on the beach in a tropical paradise (with all the bad points... More

Currently revamping accommodation which starts at 8 a.m. and also building structure on beach. Quiet location therefore somewhat compromised but beach is fab, welcome is warm and staff efficient. If no availability on line - phone up, they found us another room! Rooms are basic, beach front rooms although more expensive have lovely vista from their verandas & more up... More

If you're looking for 5 star- stay elsewhere. If you're staying only one night and want prompt service- maybe stay elsewhere... Check in was confusing to say the least- first time I asked I was quoted 1500 baht, next day I was quoted 1000 baht. I was told to come the following day for a beachfront. When I arrived they... Yes it's right on the beach, but no daily cleaning and half hearted air con or noisy fan makes for an uncomfortable stay with unhelpful staff...... Lots of better accom at similar prices are available on Koh Samet

First trip to Thailand, my dad has visited koh samet whilst working in rayong. I love the location of the rooms, had and ocean view which was lovely. Service was awful, not much to be said for the food either. We prefered to eat out at the next beach. Rooms were over basic, very uncomfortable beds, and bathroom was basic... More

On the best beach on Ko samet and around headland towards Silversands. Some bungalows right on shore, but you are only paying for the location. The bunglows are very run down and poorly maintained. Staff are lazy too, and don't leave anything hanging outside your bungalow as likely to get stolen when you are not looking

We stayed in room 16, which is further back from the beach and up the hill a little bit. We wanted to be away from the noise of guests/people on the beach so it was good for us, though we didn't spend a lot of time in our room. You hear/feel the bass of music being played over in the... More

Were looking for a seafront bungalow on Ko Samet, when we came across Ao Pudsa Bungalows. Compared to other accommodation on the island, we found the bungalow quite overpriced (1,500 Bath/night) and in a very worn down state. The view at the sea was the only good thing about it, even though there was the main walkway that connects the... More
