I've just just arrived back after spending 6 nights with my husband at this fantastic resort. I read many reviews before we left and was prepared to be possibly disappointed. We were so happy with everything. Our garden view room looked straight out to the sea. It was clean and we were more than happy with the standard. It contained... More

The resort is small and located within a small bay on the island, which makes it feel much more secluded and private. We paid for a garden view room, but actually faced the sea (room A1), which was a nice surprise. The rooms themselves all have the usual items you would expect, including wifi and are well kept and very... More

Arriving by speedboat, the hotel looked idylic and the setting was superb. The hut we had was 20 metres from the beach and we often had breakfast on the beach. For £50 a night, this was superb value. The room was a good size but needed a lick of paint. They were building some new huts which looked quality but... More

We loved this place! We will definitely be back! We loved the restaurant (Maybe the best burger I've had in Thailand!). My wife loved the massages. We both enjoyed kayaking as well. They have plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas but we went in low season (September) so that may play a part. Ao Cho is a great beach that... More

I stayed 3 nights over the Queen's birthday weekend and was able to totally relax. It's a bit isolated from all the action, which protects the peaceful atmosphere, but the busier beaches are a short walk away. The staff were all very kind and helpful to me. The manager, in particular, greeted me every morning and provided a quick Thai... More

Stayed some nights at Samed in July 14 and ended up at Ao Cho Grandview. Good location at a smaller beach but 3 min walk to Vangduern. Beach is small but very nice, Limited numbers of restaurants but okay. Stayed in Hillside bungalow which in fact have sea view - great. Room very clean and nice. Good breakfast buffet, standard... We are spending 6 nights here. We like our bungalow, the air on is running smoth, it's quiet at night and the sea is wonderful. It's my second time in samet and so I knew that the next beaches area few steps away to have party and restaurants. As we arrived by speed boat, we already saw the construction area.... More

My girlfriend and Myself absolutely had the most amazing time at this island. The beach is nice and not as crowdy as the beaches next to it, which you by the way can walk to within 5 minutes and enjoy the restaurants on the beach with fire shows. However, on this particular beach there is not much movement after 9pm... More

Beautiful location. Some construction was happening on the beach, hence view from our room was obstructed. Cottage we stayed in was large with 2 double beds. Linen etc were of good quality and very clean. Restaurant on the beach. Served some excellent sea food. The folks that work there are very polite and friendly. We were a bit taken aback... More

Over priced. The rooms are nice of appearances but are poorly built. The restaurant is very average. Poor service, waitresses don't seem to care. They brought the wrong food, and some food never arrived. There is a drainage river runs through the complex, that sings out Dengue Fever. The beach is covered in litter. Go and stay closer to Silversands.... More
