We are spending 6 nights here. We like our bungalow, the air on is running smoth, it's quiet at night and the sea is wonderful. It's my second time in samet and so I knew that the next beaches area few steps away to have party and restaurants. As we arrived by speed boat, we already saw the construction area.... More

My girlfriend and Myself absolutely had the most amazing time at this island. The beach is nice and not as crowdy as the beaches next to it, which you by the way can walk to within 5 minutes and enjoy the restaurants on the beach with fire shows. However, on this particular beach there is not much movement after 9pm... More

Beautiful location. Some construction was happening on the beach, hence view from our room was obstructed. Cottage we stayed in was large with 2 double beds. Linen etc were of good quality and very clean. Restaurant on the beach. Served some excellent sea food. The folks that work there are very polite and friendly. We were a bit taken aback... More

Over priced. The rooms are nice of appearances but are poorly built. The restaurant is very average. Poor service, waitresses don't seem to care. They brought the wrong food, and some food never arrived. There is a drainage river runs through the complex, that sings out Dengue Fever. The beach is covered in litter. Go and stay closer to Silversands.... More

Our first visit to Ao Cho Grandview in early 2012 was the reason we came back a 2nd time. Quiet beach, spacious layout, nice rooms, friendly staff. In the meantime a set of 'improvements' are contributing to an undeniable loss of character. Management seems to be taking its cue from the other overdeveloped and soulless establishments elsewhere on the island... More

We have been to Koh Samet a few times before. If you expect 5 star quality resorts you'll be disappointed every time. If you just want to relax on a beach in a 'rustic' atmosphere, not worried about fast, efficient state of the art service or accommodation, then this is the place for you. I took 4 children to this... More

I booked this hotel on-line with high expectations of both the hotel and island, however I was sadly disappointed. We took the ferry boat to the main pier and on arrival had to pay 20 baht for the pier company. Then after jumping on a pickup truck, we had to pay another 100 baht to the island management company. I... More

Stayed four nights with my family for vacation. The Ocean Breeze Grande is mediocre, but they did have two king size beds in our family room and clean & comfortable. The Beach was beautiful and private , our family had a great time relaxing on the beach. Breakfast was delicious, but a little overpriced, especially drinks but can go to another... More

Located on a beautiful spot next to a long pier. The rooms are clean, but the beds are hard. It was impossible to get an extra towel in the evening after a swim. The staff is friendly but the service is very slow. The food is quite good and the beach is gorgeous and quiet. Not too many people trying... More

We got a cottage for 4 people for 95 USD. Two double beds, a good ones !! We got a very bad dinner with a bbq fish not cooked enough, and a crepe suzette that wasn't at all. Breakfast are very poor, so you can go for meals somewhere else. No pool but a nice quiet beach and you have,... More
