This beach and bungalow hotel is definitely the best in Koh Samet if you seek peace and quiet along with great service and swimming. For more action you only walk 3 min to the Vong Duern beach where there are plenty of restaurants/bars/massages. P.S. There will be dogs&cats around your table when at breakfast and optional dinner on the beach,... More

First impressions of Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway, was that the staff were very friendly, and this continued for the duration of my stay. The room we were in, which was the 'Family room 1' was a big room with 2 double beds both with mosquito nets. It had a big bathroom with both a dry area and a shower area... More

I've stayed in this resort for 3 nights, and i can only say great things about it. The bungalow we got was clean with a very nice bathroom. The employees were good in english and were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was also good. A resort that has a private beach with a family friendly atmosphere and great... More

I didn't actually stay here so I can't comment on the accommodation, but the food was great. I had a spicy tuna salad with mixed fruit smoothie and both were excellent. The restaurant is on the beach in a relatively secluded spot on Ao Cho, so is also a peaceful, and relatively cheap, place to eat.

We stayed here last week. On arrival we were shown to our room, we were dissapointed with it, we spent one night in it & then asked to be moved as light fittings in the room didn't work, there were no bedside tables, lampshades were stained & dirty & the mosquito net was yellowed with large holes in it, subsequently... We arrived by speedboat to a great looking hotel just to find out we were dropped off at the wrong location. We then were taxied to our correct resort and upon driving in the sketchy looking place to our surprise and gratitude as we walked in closer to the lobby and water side it was a great place to stay.... I've just just arrived back after spending 6 nights with my husband at this fantastic resort. I read many reviews before we left and was prepared to be possibly disappointed. We were so happy with everything. Our garden view room looked straight out to the sea. It was clean and we were more than happy with the standard. It contained... More

The resort is small and located within a small bay on the island, which makes it feel much more secluded and private. We paid for a garden view room, but actually faced the sea (room A1), which was a nice surprise. The rooms themselves all have the usual items you would expect, including wifi and are well kept and very... More

Arriving by speedboat, the hotel looked idylic and the setting was superb. The hut we had was 20 metres from the beach and we often had breakfast on the beach. For £50 a night, this was superb value. The room was a good size but needed a lick of paint. They were building some new huts which looked quality but... More
