Koh Samet has lost its charm. This place needs some work. The views and the beach are nice. There are a lot of flies here during the day. I stayed in the sea view room. Very small and musty smelling from the toilet. I dont think the price represents the value. I wont stay here again and probably wont come... More

The beach is quiet, even during the day. There were maybe twenty other people there at mid day. The room was very basic, a shack with a bed, toilet, and AC, but also very cheap - 600 Baht for a bungalow up the hill. "Seaview" rooms cost 2000 baht, but we could see and hear the water from our room.... More

Originally we booked for one night only but after comparing prices of places in the same area we decided to stay on here (we paid 2000TB through booking.com but only 1300 direct with accom). It was clean and the location was really good. The beach was fairly quiet but a short walk to the next one had plenty of beachfront... More

Stayed here for two nights in a Seaview bungalow room. The room itself had been refurbished and was nice but is very compact for two people to share. The bathroom was old and had no ventilation. Overall it was an okay stay but like another reviewer I thought that the resort was overpriced. The view was stunning from our room... More

Sang Thian Beach is a good choice for Ko Samet if you are looking for quiet. It is easy to walk a couple hundred yards north, over the bluff to Ao Vong Duern, if you want to go to a bar. The surf is gentle and very pleasant for swimming. Our sea-view bungalow was small, basic, and fine, but it... More

We stayed in Sang Thian Beach Hotel in July 2013. It's situated in a quiet beautiful bay with clean beaches and blue water far from any disco night buzz. It's probably the best hotel in the bay and definitely the best restaurant. The room was clean and nicely maintained with a wonderful seaview. The staff was very friendly and helpful.... More

This was our second time to spend a week at this resort. We love the beach and the staff are very nice. The first time here we never left the beach, this time we explored the island a lot and were more than pleased with our spot. Very good food at the adjoining restaurant as well as amazing massage available... More

there was a shooting here a night before we checked in, somebody died and of coruse we were unware of the situation. We got the room on the other side of the beach, instead of the beach front we expected when booking. the room is nearby staffs' residence. they were quite laud in the morning and didn't seem to care... We stayed here with another couple for 4 nights over New Years. Loved the location, as the other beaches were crowded with rowdy tourists. I have to say first-off that I didn't feel like the rooms were as depicted on their website, however, that is marketing and that does happen a lot. They looked much cleaner and overall nicer online.... More
