1700 baht was stolen from my room this weekend just passed. Samed Cabana have been avoiding my contact to resolve the situation. Despite this, I feel the location is decent but many speed boats visit the bay, during the day. The price of the rooms is extortionate, considering that it's been a good 10-15 years since any renovation took place.

We arrived VERY late but luckily we informed the hotel first so there was a man waiting for us to check us in. The seaview room was not not technically "sea view". It was at the back a a cottage and we got to see the sea on the reflection on the window. The room itself was average. Not cozy... More

Although not a budget hotel -- it's a bit on the pricey side given that it's on one of the more remote beaches on Samed -- it was a great place to spend a weekend. We had a cabin in the 2nd row off the beach, but we still had a beach view. The cabin itself was SPOTLESSly clean, very... More

We chose this resort for its pool, as wanted two kids (5/2) to have choice of pool or beach. Pool was nice and pool room are definitely the nicest, other rooms are a bit grotty and run down and over inflated price. We paid premium for the pool, but not sure it was worth it. Service was fine, we didn't... More

A overpriced seaview room was in reality a room with the view over the back of a cottage. The room interior was shabby and poorly kept, with rusty fittings, broken shower and in need of serious refurbishing. Staff at the bar forgot to bring change. They also didn't produce a receipt. I left with the feeling that I had been... More

We stayed in a beach front room which was 10 meters at the most from the sea, and even closer to the lougers. The room was comfy with the usual items including a safe and A/C. The breakfast was a buffet which was ok and had a wide selection of foods. This particular beach area has a number of resorts/... More

Very nice hotel, located on the corner of Wongdeun beach. So there you'll have your own beach area with beach chair provided by the hotel. Easy travel, the ferry just drop you in front of the hotel. The beach itself make you feel part of paradise.

We stayed in beach front bungalows me and My family of 11 persons. We had 4 bungalows with a perfect view of the sea and clean and nice rooms. The hotel is located perfectly in the left Corner of a lovely white sandy beach. The breakfast was ok with fresh fruit and everything you can expect. I would recommend this... More

Koh Samed is always our favourite short holiday break as it is not too far from Bangkok. Most of the time we stayed at Wongduan Resort but this time we decided to stay at Samed Cabana Resort and it turned out to be a very nice stay. The room is clean. The bed is comfy. The breakfast was simple but... More

We were a group of college students who traveled here in January, and overall it was a nice stay, but the staff weren't particularly friendly, and since there was only one receptionist, it took about 3 hours for us just to check in. Being that we're college students, we also found the rooms to be a little overpriced--more simple than... More
