My wife and I found this B&B by chance and spent one night there. Unfortunately, there was just one room for one night left. 😥 Our room was very big, clean and perfectly set up (comfortable bed, a table, two mirrors, bright). We had separate bathroom (not ensuite) which was huge, good shower (also huge) and very clean. Since nobody... More

We chose this bed and breakfast as some friends were staying at the nearby caravan site. Great location with very comfortable bedrooms, our room did not have an en suite but the bathroom was just down the landing. Rooms were stocked with tea trays, irons and ironing boards and sewing kits if required. Filling breakfasts of usual items and choices... More

My husband, teenage son and I stayed for three nights at the Cheviot View B&B very recently. At first I was concerned about its position on the main road through the village but the secondary glazing meant that we could barely hear the road traffic in our room positioned at the front of the house. Dean was a super host,... More

Great location, easy to find and to travel about the area from. Stunning views from the bedroom windows. It is on a 'main' road but there is little traffic and we weren't disturbed by it. There is a good playground over the road which my daughter very much enjoyed and was a welcome addition to the 'entertainment options'. Both our... More

Visited Cheviot View again, this time with my husband. it is good as ever. Great breakfast and hospitality. Dean has a wealth on information on the area and his recommendation of a trip around the Farne Islands was brilliant. We went on the sunset trip and it was fantastic but you do need some warm clothing!!

Great stay with Dean. Loved the Scops owl. Comfy room and superb breakfast - plenty of quality fuel for the ride to Lindisfarne. Food at The Plough round the corner is of epic proportions. Only drawback:a 1 in 5 climb out of the village, right behind the B&B!

We only stayed briefly -- arrived late at night and left first thing in the morning. But we had a nice stay. We were the only guests for the night, and Dean greeted us warmly when we finally showed up after a long day on the road. The room was tidy and big enough to fit a roll away bed... More

We booked a weekend here, one of the last of the summer before closing for winter. The room was clean & spacious, with all you could want in terms of tea/coffee and toiletries. Breakfast was all local high quality produce and it really showed. There was also a full pack in the room of what to see and do locally,... More

I stayed here, at short notice, as I was attending a Starmakers stargazing event in Ingram and was very well looked after. The rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated and the breakfast was delicious, the eggs I was told were from the hens in the garden and tasted wonderful. Dean, the owner, was very helpful and hospitable - I look... More

Great stay again, beautiful rooms, stunning linen, amazing quality breakfast. Huge huge huge bathroom. Views to die for. And this time we got to join the locals for a great night of live music at the village hall, tickets all sorted by Dean and his wife. You cannot fault this pace for quality, location and cost. Will be back again... More
