The location was perfect - straight across the road from the Hot Pools and a two minute walk to town.

Fantastic service from the minute we arrived until we left. Our room was great ,very clean
and spacious. We were well looked after, and particularly enjoyed the large shared lounge with the large wood fire and comfortable chairs and lounges to relax on.The breakfast area was particularly clean and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. The location was perfect, directly across the...

We stayed here three years ago and the whole place was immaculate and the service was excellent - unfortunately we cannot say the same again this trip. On arrival we were told our room was upstairs at the end of the hall, and that the external door would be the closest access. This door was locked and we were told...

We had an absolute ball on our GrabOne trip. Sauna just over the road, lovely massage and twice into the hot pools. Superb breakfast, could not eat it all. Beds very comfortable, slept thru till 9am, very quiet. Do not go away to read papers, can do that when I am at home. Can't wait until our next pamper day/weekend...

After purchasing a Grab One voucher in December, we were looking forward to a luxury weekend in Hanmer. From the time we arrived, we were wondering about the place we were staying in.
On arrival, the room was ready, but the 'welcome pack' wasn't. 15 minutes later, a very nervous lady appeared at our door, with 2 glasses of sparkling...

We only stayed at this motel as it took Bartercard.
The first night we stayed we were in Room 17, upstairs which is a twin single bed room for $165. It was tiny and cramped, there was also no fridge in the room so you had to use their one in the downstairs kitchen. It wasnt very convenient as I...

A great location across road from Thermal Spas. Room tidy and the sky tv was great for a rugby lover. Breakfast a little disappointing, but great value for the area.
We had one of the smaller rooms, which was a little hot, as no air con, just a fan. Ask for a bigger one with breeze.

First thing that put me off staying here was the phone call I got half way through a wedding speech (silly me for not turning my phone off I guess...) which was about asking where I was that I should of been there 7 hours ago and why I wasn't arriving. Long story short I got accused of booking the...

We thought we had entered an already occupied room. The bed hadnt been made properly. Dirty jug, dusty cups & tray, two hairs in fridge, no underfloor heating as advertised, hairs &dust in handbasin, heated towel rail didnt work, broken tap, mildew in shower grouting, mould &dirt on shower door. We had booked a package-had to ask for the pool...

We take cleanliness very seriously at Drifters Inn and refute these claims. No mention was made to reception of any complaint at all, until check out when it was impossible to support their claims.
The room had most certainly not been previously occupied, and the under floor heating was in full working order.
The package booked included one night’s accommodation,...
