Wonderful motel. complimentary dvd movies and internet/laundry facilities. sally is very friendly, the motel is located a walking distance away from the hanmer springs, which is very ideal. has a kitchenette, and all necessary utilities. perfect for two nights' stay. We stayed for just one night on 22nd Sep. Booked a Honeymoon suite room. The receiption was small and fine. Got our keys and the receiptionist led us to the room and showed us the room personally..there was a big hall with a TV, Kitchen, One bed room with a double bed and a single bed then there is this... more

Travelling with two adults and two teenage daughters, Settlers easily became a home away from home. We stayed for one night in a two bedroom unit but could have easily stayed for the week....but ski fields beckoned. Booked for 2 nights, ended up staying 4. Very clean, comfortable, warm, added extras, DVD's, internet, pool towels made stay very pleasurable. Didn't need car as could walk everywhere. No hesitation in recommending this motel. more

I can now see why the Settlers Motel is no1 in Hamner Springs. We stayed for two nights, and the motel was everything a good motel should be, clean, value for money, close to town, comfy and great service.
