Just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Hanmer Springs, on a rise above the town is nestled the Chalet Motels. “Fantastic Family Motel”

I think this was possibly the best family motel I have ever stayed at. Units were seperate, so more privacy, and the you didn't worry about your kids making a bit of noise. Clean, tidy and well set up. DVDs available for us and the kids. i loved this place and would stay there again. Wonderful hosts too.

Sensational accommodation right from check in to check out!! The hosts were only too happy to assist with any request including the best travel route for the following day! Great place to spend two nights on our South Island trip.Jock was a magnificant host,friendly,helpfull and great accomodation.Units were clean and had everything you required. Very short stroll to town and veryquiet, Thanks for having us! Paul

“Delightful!”

What a great find! The Motel is a few hundred metres out of the centre of Hanmer which meant it was beautifully quiet and peaceful, yet everything we needed was easily accessible (especially the ducks and the swings!) “A Wonderful Place To Stay”

I loved the layout of the Chalets and the fact that you were so private. I would have spent a week there if i could, it was very peaceful and the view was beautiful. Very friendly welcoming staff. Chalets were very warm comfortable and clean! Cheers Jock

A perfect place to end our holiday in New Zealand. We were in chalet number 1 and we had a fabulous view up to the mountains on one side and across the valley on the other - a real alpine picture. “Perfect”

This was our last accommodation before leaving the South Island. Everything was perfect. We stayed at cabin 8. It was very cosy and had a good view. We quite like the wooden design and felt like being home. Jock even provided free towels for our thermal spa. Thanks heaps!

“Very friendly and comfortable stay”

Cabins are cosy and comfortable. Jock was very welcoming. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The two bedroom cabins are a little more classy than the 1 bedders, but they are still good, cosy and very clean. All was great. Thanks Jock.
