Beautifully appointed resort style accomodation. Complimentary towels for the thermal pools and pre-heated, exceptionally clean room. Would stay here again for a couple of nights to enjoy it more as we only stayed one night.

We stayed in Wallace Cottage which had spectacular views. Lisa and Chris are the perfect hosts to this beautiful home away from home. Sensational breakfast was supplied , we loved the log burner and stunning views from the dining table. Highly recommend and will be back again.

It was great meeting you both and so glad that you enjoyed yourselves in the cottage. The weather offered you a sunny day for getting in a walk up Dunblane ridge & a soak in the pools afterwards. Perfect time of year for a cosy night in by the log fire too! We look forward to having you come back!... More

Lisa and Chris are fantastic hosts. While we only stayed one night we relished in their relaxing environment. Provided with unbelievable views, first-rate amenities, a delicious breakfast, and expert advice on New Zealand, we were blown away. Would highly recommend this.

This is so well named as a "Retreat" - absolute five star luxury. The warmth of the welcome, the exquisite décor of Wallace Cottage, the totally quiet and private accommodation and the just scrummy breakfast all contributed to a really delightful stay. We will be back again thank you to Chris and Lisa

Gosh where do i start, i will say the most memorable things are the Quiet, peace, tranquillity, view, olive tree groves, with the room being impeccably clean and well looked after. Service is notable for being flawless and i can happily say my time of three nights there was way to short as i did not want to leave. Highly... More

Lisa was very welcoming and helpful, recommending and booking our wonderful dinner, and providing passes for the hot springs. The breakfast basket was generous and delicious. However we thought the cottage was very expensive, as the bathroom was not at all luxurious - in fact smaller than the ensuites in our school camp rooms, and with the same sort of... More

We stayed three nights in this extraordinary place: the surroundings are beautiful with fantastic views to the valley of Hammer Springs and to the impressive mountains; the house is surrounded by very well maintained gardens, many native plants and hundreds of olive-trees. The bedrooms are very luxury equipped, just beside the very comfortable lounges. The breakfast was excellent, very tasty.... More

Highly recommend staying here if you are staying near/in Hanmer. Located in a quiet location just east of town with great vistas of the valley and mountains this B&B did not disappoint! Chris and Lisa were attentive and generous to our needs and breakfast was great. Best hosts and breakfast of our four B&B trip!

We stayed at the cabin at Amuri Estate over Christmas and found the whole experience to be perfect. The estate and views are wonderful: Close enough to downtown Hanmer Springs to easily drive into town for dinner, a mountain bike ride, or a dip in the hot springs yet far enough away to escape reality and allow your mind to... We stayed at Amuri for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend and it was an absolutely perfect getaway. We had a tranquil cabin in the olive groves, with a superb view of Hanmer Springs. Lisa and Chris were wonderful hosts, always ready with advice and help. I can't recommend here enough.
