Great views, beautiful place! Went in december. Had a brilliant time! So much to do,golf, fishing, great walks and plenty of time relaxing in the surrounds of the beautiful lodge. Christine and Peter were helpful and professional

I absolutely fell in love with this lodge. The view of the grounds, garden, lake, town in the distance, cows, birds, were all incredible. Open your windows as you drive up the driveway to smell the lavender. I could have lived at this place. The rooms are large as are the bathrooms. There is free wireless internet. We stayed at Maungatautari Lodge for 3 nights in September 2005 on the recommendation of friends.
