My wife and I have stayed here three times now. Once in the double story with some great friends that enjoy wine tasting and what Stanthorpe has to offer also. The cottages have everything that we need and more. Love the special soaps and spa on a cold day or night after a big day. Great restaurant also so you... More

Penny and John we such great hosts even calling us to see if we wanted to dine in the restaurant as they were filling up fast for dinner bookings that evening! Not sure where else you would get such great service! The King Terrace room was lovely but I will say there is a bit of road noise but not... More

John & Penny were lovely hosts. The cottages were beautifully presented in stunning gardens and boasted plush bath sheets! Yes, sometimes it's the little things. The cafe had a wonderful menu. The food was fantastic and the fireplace was a cosy place for after dinner drinks. Highly recommended.

We stayed in both the queen cottage and king terrace both are lovely I loved the privacy if having your own cottage surrounded by gorgeous gardens with a newspaper on your door to start the day. The king terrace had more of an open plan which was great and roomy. The bed was huge and comfy and the towels are... More

We booked two nights over the Easter break at Vineyard cottages and Cafe. We were not quite sure what to expect. Let me start by saying the website does not do this place justice. The gardens were spectacular! Roses were lovely, wisteria, lavender etc - so lovely and fragrant. The rosemary was flowering too. The rooms were a good size.... More

Driving home to Brisbane after Christmas in Melbourne we decided to take a two day break in the Granite Belt as we had never been there. On arrival after eight hours driving we were given a very friendly welcome by Penny and John. There is an excellent restaurant where we were again served by Penny and John. After a lovely... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Penny greeted us with her friendly smile. Location : central to wineries in Granite Belt only 10 min drive to centre of Stanthorpe ad 10 mins south to Wallangarra (border). Walk to local pub, local store (best vanilla slice!), washpool (soaps, handwash etc). Room : We booked a queen and used that and a foldaway bed... More

Stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage for 2 nights, used it as a meeting palce to catch up with our daughter for Christmas. The owners John & Penny where perfect hosts with local information & no request was ever too much, even mailing the tarp we left behind back to us. The food was of a high standard & the... More

Beautifully presented cottages in handy location. Back for a second stay, I stayed with several family members and this provided a great base for our wine tasting day trips. Ballandean is in my opinion the best area on the Granite Belt to stay as it's closest to the better wineries. The cafe is so much better than you would ever... More
