We were on the top floor and there was no elevator, many stairs. The shower in the bathroom had not been cleaned effectively, mould was evident, we wore our thongs in the shower!! The bed looked inviting, however the electric blanket's coils could be felt through the sheets. The pillows were hard and the bed was like sleeping on concrete... more

Excellent location, 3 rail stops from City (10 min's travel) and nearby station only 5 min's walk away. Many restaurants and shops within 10 minutes walk in a nice suburb of Melbourne. We stayed 2 nights at Toorak Manor & found it very comfortable. We had room 10 (upstairs) & room 3 downstairs. Both rooms were large,attractively furnished,spotlessly clean & very comfortable beds. The decor is a bit tired looking. Continental breakfast was good with the option of a cooked breakfast at extra cost.However a new more efficient toaster is desperately needed!... more

What a wonderful find! Located just a few short blocks from the Toorak Shopping Village, this hotel is situated in a wonderful residential area. Even though Williams Road is busy, the traffic noise is not really noticealbe, and the nearby rail line traffic isn't that bothersome either.
