After having a sub-par first night at a different location we set out the very next morning to find suitable accommodations. After browsing the area we quickly decided that Las Olas looked like the spot for us. To say the grounds are charming is an understatement. From the large wooden front gate adorned with flowering vines, to the small stone... More

This was our first time in Mancora, although I've travelled a lot in Peru. When I started looking for somewhere to stay in Mancora I was horrified by how expensive some places were. I'm not interested in backpacker hostels any more but equally I don't expect to pay well over £100 a night which is what some places were asking.... More

I recently stayed, again, at Las Olas Hotel in Maconra...It never ceases to amaze me the heartwarming experience everytime I go. For me, is as staying at my own beach house, away from it all. The owners, Gustavo and Magaly Labarthe have kept the place as simple and down to earth as possible, nevertheless, they are not only present in... More

I usually travel on a thrifty way. I always think I need a room just to leave my bags and sleep and then walk around the city to mingle with the locals which is what I love. But finding Las Olas in Mancora has been a total different experience. I don't think you can get a better deal than this.... More

This hotel is directly on the beach and directly in Mancora. If you get a room with the balcony towards the sea, there is nothing better you can get in life :o) - you can hear the music from the bars nearby just a little bit. The wireless is not perfect in every spot, but if you get the wireless... More

We were fortunate to find a room here on Christmas day after fleeing bedbugs and filth at a nearby hotel. The hosts graciously gave us a great rate on a bright, double room with king size bed and a terrace overlooking the beach where we could watch the surfers and relax. The decor in the room was dated and the... More

We recently spent 5 nights at Las Olas, which had been highly recommended by friends who are frequent guests. We were not disappointed. We loved the laid back feel of the place, the palms and the meandering gardens and the lovely ocean terrace for breakfast. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and also very nice people. Mari was especially... More

Las Olas in Mancora is a surfer’s dream come true!! ... And the view of Mancora’s BEST wave, from our balcony suite was unforgettable.!! Mancora point lies directly in front of the hotel, and from the oceanfront rooms, allowed us to simply roll over in the morning to see what the waves were doing... and they were perfect left-hand peelers,... The rooms are clean and beautiful. The location is amazing ! Right on the beach just far enough from the main street and the noise of the disco. Very central. Close to everything. No need for taxi. Can walk everywhere. Friendly staff. Right in front of the surf break. Best hotel I found so far in Peru !
