Mancora and its surroundings is dry and hot! But kimbas is a beautiful place in the "desert". It is located in a nice garden with a small swimming pool. The rooms are in wooden bungalows about 200m from the beach. Staff is friendly and the price is ok (Mancora is expensive and this is one of the cheaper and better... More

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at kimbas bungalows and really enjoyed our stay. We arrived late, at 11:30 pm, and were greeted by the night security staff who showed us directly to our room. This was much appreciated after a long travel day from ecuador. We reserved on booking.com. There were a few mosquitos in our cabana, but... More

I stayed in the hotel for 4 days. The reservation through booking was not so great, payment methods were not very clear, and no one ever mentioned what kind of rooms were available. Among arriving our room was not ready, even though we had called prior letting them know we were going to arrive, (it was after check-in time). The... More

This lovely bungalow garden is close to the beach (about 200 m), and aproximately 150 m away from the bar street, which is just enough not to be annoyed by the music except from special occations (like new years eve when we were there). The bungalow area is quiet and dark relatively early as opposed to Mancora in general. We... More

This is one of the best value places I stayed at in Peru, 70 soles (US$25) very well spent. The beautiful garden looks like something out of a rain forest---but without the rain. The complex is too far away from the Pacific for you to hear the surf but as a plus, the traffic on the Pan-American Highway is little... More

One of the best stays in South America. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean. Breakfast, which is included, is great. Except the coffee, exactly the same as all over this continent. Right now sitting outside our room and having a snack before going in to town ( 200 m).

We only spent one night at Kimbas, but we really enjoyed a relaxing stay there. The 'resort' feel made it a nice break from the rustic surrounds of Mancora, the pool was nice to have a dip (although a bit small for a proper swim) the surrounding deck and garden area is a very nice place to chill out. Our... More

I stayed 4 nights and I really liked it here. Room was quiet & clean, Wifi works everywhere, hot water every time (not guaranteed in Peru). Quantity of breakfast could have been a bit bigger though, but it was enough to fill my stomach. The swimming pool area is a nice area to relax.Water was clean and refreshing. The whole... More

We moved to Kimba's from another local place that disappointed us (see review) and were amazed at the positive difference. Kimba's was verdant, full of birds, had a smallish, well maintained pool, included a good breakfast and was cheaper. It also had several other things going for it: 1. A very friendly staff 2. A casual walk (2 min 15... More

We stayed 3 nights in one of Kimbas Bungalows. It is a great place to relax and the garden is beautiful. Unfortunately at night there were mosquitos in our room because the mosquito-nets at the windows had gaps. Luckily we had a mosquito-net with us. Breakfast was really good (you can choose between 2 options).
