After a nightmare journey from Chiclayo to Máncora, we finally found this beautiful place recreated as South East Asian resort. Máncora is an overrated destination with all hotels with beach front from over 100 USD per night just see a common rocky beach (this is not the Med or the Caribbean). We only left the hotel to eat because the... More

This is the best deal in Mancora. In a very Indonesian style, all the rooms face a magnificent garden with a really relaxing swimming pool area. Rooms were in bungalows style, water always hot, tv with cable and music channels (very cool), hammocks and chairs in front of the room, huge black windows which let you see the outside but... More

Kimbas is a lovely and quiet place far enough away from the town to be quiet at night, but a short 300 meter walk from the beach. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, fan and private bath and shower. We were with a group of 25 who literally took over the place for four days. A continental breakfast... More

My sister and I traveled to Peru recently and found kimbas to be our favorite place to stay. If you are considering visiting mancora..then look no further. We took a 21 hour cruz del sur and we were tired and hungry and kimbas was the perfect place to relax..within the first hour of being there we booked another two nights.... More

We just returned from staying 11 nights at Kimbas Bungalows and had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a fan that kept the room cool and the porch was a great place to sit or lay in the hammock and relax. Mancora is very dry and barren but they have created a beautiful green... More

Found Kimbas bungalows by chance after reading a blog about Mancora. Sent an email with my enquiry and got prompt and informative reply from Vanessa (who runs Kimbas). We arrived late after a long journey and was shown our bungalow which was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower had the perfect pressure and hot water.... More

I stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights in March 2014. Loved the place. Very clean, cozy and beautiful. Good WiFi. It is a bit away from the main touristy street and the beach, but it's only 5 min walk. On the last day my bus was leaving late at night, but the hotel owner let me keep my stuff... More

I would give Kimba's 5 stars except that it's not right on the beach. However, it's just a comfortable 4 minute walk to it. In fact you can see the waves crashing on the beach from the front door of the hotel. The upside of being removed from the beach is that it's also removed from all the city noise... More

Prepare yourself! Once you walk through the big sliding wooden gate you are transformed into another world! Kimbas takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the beach town to a Bali type of peace and serenity. The staff greeted me as soon as I arrived. The room was perfect! Beds are so comfortable and rooms are very clean.... More
