One of the best stays in South America. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean. Breakfast, which is included, is great. Except the coffee, exactly the same as all over this continent. Right now sitting outside our room and having a snack before going in to town ( 200 m).

We only spent one night at Kimbas, but we really enjoyed a relaxing stay there. The 'resort' feel made it a nice break from the rustic surrounds of Mancora, the pool was nice to have a dip (although a bit small for a proper swim) the surrounding deck and garden area is a very nice place to chill out. I stayed 4 nights and I really liked it here. Room was quiet & clean, Wifi works everywhere, hot water every time (not guaranteed in Peru). Quantity of breakfast could have been a bit bigger though, but it was enough to fill my stomach. The swimming pool area is a nice area to relax.Water was clean and refreshing. The whole... More

We moved to Kimba's from another local place that disappointed us (see review) and were amazed at the positive difference. Kimba's was verdant, full of birds, had a smallish, well maintained pool, included a good breakfast and was cheaper. It also had several other things going for it: 1. A very friendly staff 2. A casual walk (2 min 15... More

We stayed 3 nights in one of Kimbas Bungalows. It is a great place to relax and the garden is beautiful. Unfortunately at night there were mosquitos in our room because the mosquito-nets at the windows had gaps. Luckily we had a mosquito-net with us. Breakfast was really good (you can choose between 2 options).

Just out of the center of Mancora. Nicely built bungalows, a bit small but perfect for staying a few nights. The garden is beautiful and filled with plants and palm trees and dogs and cats walk around. The pool is nice. Breakfast is okay, fresh fruit, coffee and some bread. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and helped us... More

This was the perfect place in Mancora, very quiet, clean and good sized room, nice and large bathroom with plenty of hot water, and lovely little balcony. Tastefully furnished area to sit by the pool. Owner recommended a great local restaurant with delicious ceviches (forgot name - roughly behind Cruz del Sur office, a few doors up from Las Gemelitas).... More

The best place to stay in Mancora! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in October 2014 and loved it. A beautiful little Indonesian style bungalow complex at the end of Mancora. It's nice and tranquil as it's set back from the main road (the Panamerican Highway which is VERY busy). The beautiful bungalows with hot water (and... More

After a nightmare journey from Chiclayo to Máncora, we finally found this beautiful place recreated as South East Asian resort. Máncora is an overrated destination with all hotels with beach front from over 100 USD per night just see a common rocky beach (this is not the Med or the Caribbean). We only left the hotel to eat because the... More

This is the best deal in Mancora. In a very Indonesian style, all the rooms face a magnificent garden with a really relaxing swimming pool area. Rooms were in bungalows style, water always hot, tv with cable and music channels (very cool), hammocks and chairs in front of the room, huge black windows which let you see the outside but... More
