Welcoming, beautiful, relaxing - we stayed at Katamah for 4 nights on our honeymoon and were sorry to leave. All staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Treasure Beach is breathtaking in its rustic and secluded beauty and its residents are approachable and friendly.

The property is in an excellent location, right on the beach and close to amenities. However it could be better with small investment from the owners. The room we had was very dark due the the dark brown light fitting. It was beautiful but blocked the light. The communal kitchen wasn't very clean and there was no allocated space in... More

A quiet, peaceful, wonderful retreat! There is a variety of rooms in Katamah, bigger, smaller and even tents. The rooms are decorated with simple elegance - pretty and practical. We stayed at the Saida room,The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a beautiful garden on the premises with butterflies the size of birds, and birds the size of butterflies... More

My wife and I stayed at Katamah in Dec. 2014 and when we started to plan another trip to the Caribbean we tried to imagine where we would go--on any island anywhere--that would be as nice as Katamah and Treasure Beach. When we considered the place, the people, the beach, the cost, and the relaxing environment, we couldn't come up... More

Loved Katamah on the Beach. Huge communal kitchen and sitting area. Lovely dining and sitting area in a thatche'd Gazebo. Rooms funky Moroccan and lovely. Moni, Andrew and Simon all great. Going back in September.

There are two questions you will ask yourself when leaving Katamah: Why am I leaving? and Can I pay Mony, Andrew, and Simon more for my stay?. Calling this place a hotel completely misses the point. There are delightfully decorated rooms that scream Jamaican chill with a hint of Morocco. The grounds are fascinating. The common areas including a great... More

Katamah sucked me in as soon as I walked in. Okay, so first I saw the well spaced and homey looking cottages with lots of trees and flowers all around. Then I took in the HUGE thatch-roofed verandah with li-los and chairs scattered around. Then the communal room and kitchen with touches of Asia and Middle East here and there... More

Absolutely wonderful place. Treasure beach is simply a pearl. The place is right on the beach and super close to a couple of bars / restaurant. Also walking distance to other restaurants off the beach. The hotel is super cozy with the sweetest personnel. Would recommend highly to stay here. Extremely nice vibe. Will come back for sure!!

Very relaxing place with helpful, friendly and sweet staff. We met some travellers on the road that recommended this place, so we called Andrew. The rooms were not available, but they arranged a tent for us to sleep in (best sleep we ever had in Jamaica). And they put up a wall around the tent so we could have some... More

Very welcoming and relaxing place with helpful and friendly staff. Nice location right on the beach with with a reef where you can snorkel. Nice garden. Bikes available. Don't like the big resorts? Go to Treasure beach and stay at this wonderful low key place. Great seafood at nearby restaurants.
