The rooms are a bit dated. The property can use an upgrade. The owner mentioned he was planning to do some work on the place. Te bedroom had a/c but the living room unit was out of service. The place had a great view! Great breakfast! Great sunset! Average beach (a rocky walk to get there).

We’ve been so fortunate this year to be able to go all over Jamaica--Port Antonio, Mavis Bank, Ocho Rios, Falmouth, MoBay, Negril, Strawberry Hill and Treasure Beach. Every destination was gorgeous and memorable, and every place we stayed at was great. But when it came time for our last trip, there was only one place we considered returning to—Sunset Villa... This is a lovely resort that is very clean with a welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff. There are several accommodations which are tastefully furnished, but the rooms are very dated. There was only one outlet we could access and, everything was plugged into it. We had to take turns charging our phones, cameras, etc. There is free Wi-Fi, but it... More

Unfortunately, our time was running short, so we were only able to stay here for one night; we felt very welcomed the moment we step foot inside. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and fresh and wi-fi was included in the rate. The hotel overlook the vastness of the sea and although the room was a bit dated, it was very... More

I have to say I'm a bit surprised about the high ratings this place got from other visitors. Yes, the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself has seen better days. The rooms' interior is extremely dated and the toilet flush and shower didn't really work. We had breakfast which was delicious. It's good value... More

We are very sorry for the water problem , the Treasure Beach area had been without water from the National Water Commission for over a week, and our tanks were so low we had to turn off the pumps from midnight to 6 am for one night, this is the first time that has ever happened, the water truck did... The most wonderful place we found in Jamaica! Friendly and warm atmosphere with the South family and their well trained and balanced hotel staff. Excellent breakfast options, day trips and the best sndowners in the south west of the island. Real value for money. We will return in the next years.

Nice and cosy hotel with an amazing view of the many great sunsets to be seen in Treasure beach. We visited just before high season so we were the only ones staying there, at least for a couple of days. There are sunbeds (again, with a great view) and a small pool to cool down in. We had breakfast included... More

After 27 years in Jamaica we have traveled the island many times. We choose Treasure Beach as the most friendly and endearing families to spend our time with. Sunset Resort and Cory are the real Jamaica. Best food by far both breakfast and dinner. The staff is top notch and Cory makes you feel right at home.

We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse for 6 days and sadly only one day at Sunset. Of all 8 restaraunts at the resort, lunch and dinner at most, and the famous Rick's Cafe in Negril (boo) I have to say, the Lobster we had at Sunset was by FAR the best meal we had in jamaica and most were pretty darn...
