Very nice getaway. But no entertainment . My daughter got married so lots of family get-to-gether. We had a blast... Staff very nice. The villas are very nice especially Sea Weed. Wedding party stayed at Seaweed with their own staff and cooks... It was difficult to leave!! We plan to go back for another vacation. Nice Food. Nice staff.

We have been wanting to go to Jakes for a few years and we were finally able to. It was everything we expected. We stayed in Seahorse down which was very large with plenty of room to move around. Very private with a porch swing in front. We met some of the nicest people...guests, Jakes employees and Treasure Beach residents.... More

Our good friend, who's a travel agent sent us this hotel. Without much fuss, and after reviewing the reviews - it seemed like the perfect place for my husband and I to spend a few days doing nothing but staring out to sea. I do believe it's a hotel where an individual would say they either 'love' or 'hate' the... More

Jake's Hotel had been on my personal bucket list of places to visit for at least 15 years and now I can officially say it was WORTH THE WAIT! From the point of initial contact to the return home, the staff were polite, friendly, professional, caring, and above all else - HAPPY to be of service to my husband and... More

If you want to be spoiled by High End Pampering,Top Notch A/C and White sands beaches, this is NOT the place for you- but if you want some true Jamaican living - feeling the warm Carribean breezes at night - listeing to authentic music and getting down with the locals - living life in relaxed and peaceful atmosphere with everything... We’ve been going to Jakes as a family for over 10 years now. It is without doubt the most truly authentic community tourism experience we’ve ever had. We first went a few months after hurricane Ivan had devastated the West Indies. The roofs had been ripped off the cottages, bar and restaurant, the seawater pool filled with rocks and coral... More

I stayed four nights and in general had a great time. We had beautiful weather and decent food at both restaurants. However, definitely will not return to Jake's next time. The setting is beautiful though there's no access to the beach from the property unless you walk all the way to the enter a tiny filthy beach with no place... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your visit and we appreciate your feedback. We would like to address your concern in an effort to win you back to our property. While we agree that we are not on a beach there are many natural beaches in the area within walking distance. Our pool is salt water (pumped from the sea) which sometimes... More

Jake's is a low key Eco friendly resort in rural southern Jamaica. It is a collection of seaside cottages with very ordinary rooms (not even a dresser) that have extraordinary Ocean sounds and views. Jake's is very modest, low key and understated but at times it can come close to the line of being shabby. (it never crosses that line... More

We spent a month in Jamaica, but most of it in the Negril area. We decided to travel to Treasure Beach and we are so glad that we did! It had long been a dream of ours to stay at Jake's, ever since staying at the Caves 15 years ago (and before kids!). We got to Treasure Beach and instantly... More

Jakes and Treasure Beach was amazing. The resort and the surrounding area were relaxing and and enjoyable. Jakes little cottages, especially with the ocean views, are your own private paradise away from the rest of the resort. The main part of the resort was a nice place to socialize, the staff made sure your every need was met (I lost... More
