This small B&B was a very pleasant surprise to find on the eastern side of PEI about 5 minutes from Georgetown. A well kept property with finely appointed rooms is run by Sandra and Fred Storr who are probably the most environmentally conscious B & B owners I have encountered. If you don’t follow the directions on the Romany B&B web-site about how to get there, you may have a hard time finding it and it’s not likely you will stumble across this jewel while touring. I would stay at this b&b again, although I would not stay in the cottage,rather I would stay in the rooms in the house. Fred and Sandra are great. Wish there were no mosquitos! more
It was a shame about the mosquitos, they were particularly bad due to a spell of rather wet weather. We've looked to see if they can access the cottage through the screen doors and screened window and have put some additional sealant around the windows and extra weatherstripping around the screen doors in case there are any small gaps. We cycle the Confederation Trail in Prince Edward Island, Canada every June and took a chance on this B&B in Georgetown on the eastern coast of the Island.
