Overall, I would have to recommend this hotel as for the area it is a centrally located, good option for families. The "cabins" are typically two rooms with a large living and bedroom, as well as a decent sized kitchen area. Everything is provided, so you can simply show up with groceries and cook for yourself - there is even... More

We stayed here for a weekend during our daughter's ringette tournament that was held in the area. The property was actually closed for the season but was opened back up to accommodate a few ringette teams. We found that while the property is not a luxurious 5 star hotel, it certainly met our needs very well for this type of... More

The staff, facilities, and golf at Brudenell are exceptional. The view while playing golf is worth the trip alone. The staff are so friendly, helpful and a real PEI experience. We would highly recommend this as a destination, whether for Golf or just a vacation spot. The food in the local area is exceptional, be sure and go to Edens... More

This was my second conference at Brudenell .... the surroundings, ambience and warmth of the staff are truly lovely.... the 19th hole I remember as having terrific seafood chowder last time ... with fantastic staff.... but there needs to be much greater training/attention to detail..... the light bulb blew on my first night ... I placed the 'maintenance request' on... More

I'm not sure how I could be more disappointed in Rodd Brudenell River Resort. The "resort" should be in parenthesis, because this place felt more like a big, cheap motel than anything else. Yes, it's on a good golf course, and yes, the grounds themselves are quite nice. Those are definite attractions. The biggest problem is that the rooms are... More

The grounds are lovely. The hotel was a throwback to the early eighties! Very dated. Rooms are utilitarian at best. The breakfast buffet was a disaster! The outdoor pool is not heated,it was like swimming in ice water.

Highly disappointed in amenities during stay. 1. Upon check in, a reception for about 100 women was going on in the check in area. We had to weave our way to the desk between the women, the bar, the food table, and the staff, and back out again. 2. Our room was in building in back of the check in... More

Because we got a great rate on this hotel, it gets an average versus poor. The government employee rate was SO attractive that we booked two nights here....and that is what brought us to the east side of PEI rather then stay in Charlottetown. Neither one of us are golfers, and had we been I suppose we would have turned... More

My husband and I went on a four day golf trip to PEI. We booked very last minute. Less than 5 days. So rather than stay in Cavendish in a rental cottage we thought we would stay at Brudenell Resort. We booked 1 of their quad cottages. How lovely and quaint. Would do it again in a heart beat. We... More
