I love this park. The area is fantastic. Park is huge so expect to drive every where (beach, store, trails etc). I was in riverside in a premium site so got a great view of the old Ausable Channel. Site was huge and sandy (read: messy kids). You do have to be careful booking in riverside as some sites are... More

My family and I went for a BBK and beach day at Pinery. We had a great time eating at the picnic area and enjoying the water and the beach of the Lake Huron. We recommend it. They even have a beach for dogs (beach #2).

I was in a group of six people... and I spent the weekend there. I simply loved the place. Wonderful beaches!! The only thing is that the campground does not have so much grasses (maybe it was my campsite only). Other the that, the park is amazing... it is huge.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night in the Dunes at Pinery. I’ve heard great things about Pinery and had high expectations…unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. When I go camping, I’m mainly there for the beaches. Sadly, there were very little sandy beach areas when I visited. The water level was high, so it was mostly stones and pebbles... More

Spent 5 days at the park. We came down over the August long wknd...(First mistake). The line up to get into the park started on the highway...Then there was the line up to get into our campground (Riverside)...(Second mistake). This campground,area1, house's around 150 sites. With multiply people on every site and only 6 Showers and 2 buildings that house... More

We stayed one night in Burley campground as we were passing through. Clean, large, secluded campsites. Restrooms/showers were clean even though it was a very busy holiday weekend. It is almost a 30 minute drive from the entrance of the park to the camping area, so you'll want to have what you need with you. The beach was just over... More

We were there with couple of our friends and their families for a day trip to the beach in the park. The sandy area is very long, however, very narrow in comparison to other beaches we have visited. Unless you go really early, hard to find a spot at the beach to put the umbrella at the beach.........we setup our... More

I went up to the beach at Pinery Provincial Park on this past Simcoe Day long weekend and it was probably one of the best beach days I have ever had. The traffic going up there was relatively light...I.e. no traffic jams. The park itself is huuuuge and it looks like there's a lot of activities that you can do... More

We usually stay in Dunes but since they get booked up very quickly, we had to do Burley. I suggest Burley if you want more space and Privacy. Burley is farther away from the entrance but its a lot better. There is poison ivy EVERYWHERE. If you want a quite place to stay try Riverside, but there is no Beach... More
