Excellent park for camping. Great trails and beat beach in Ontario. Camp grounds are clean and well organized. This place is ideal to camp with small kids. You will not be disappointed. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went there last summer and just got to writing the review - campgrounds have 3 : Dunes , Burley & Riverside . We stayed at the Riverside and thought it was great . Washrooms are clean and facilities are nice. - Beach is as good as Caribbean. - Bicycle Trail : they have only one which is long but... More

We stayed in #479 (it's a yurt; a big yurt) for two nights. It came with two sets of bunk beds, a table, 4 chairs, a bbq, and was heated just right. The first night, it took some time to get used to the noises of the yurt, but the noises weren't much different then a tent. We were there... More

Great sites, super beach. The washrooms and showers were seemingly always being cleaned. The sites are spacious, numerous yet you get the secluded feeling of being in nature. Best in Ontario? Certainly in the top five, more likely in the top three. I'll be back.

I would thoroughly recommend the pinery if you are a mouse, or can effectively communicate with your co-campers in sign language. We were evicted from the park at 8am this morning following a noise complaint the night before from our non-existent neighbours (we were the only group for some distance) . The wardens gave us 1 warning at 9:30pm whereupon... More

I have been going to this park since I was 10 years old. It had a beautiful beach and the campsites are very spacious. After moving up north outside of Algonquin Park, I still would rate this park number 1 !!!! I love how the negative comments are always about bugs. ticks. sand flies etc. Try living up north and... Despite those annoying stable flies which were particularly annoying this summer, we still love coming to the Pinery beaches every summer. No matter how crowded it gets, you can still find a decent spot to settle in for a day of swimming, sunbathing and watching the sunset. We also love walking the long shoreline connecting the day beaches. Can't wait... More

We consider the Pinery to be one of our "staple" camp grounds. It's very clean, huge with lots of sites to choose from (but books up crazy fast!), has lots to do, has a fabulous (but windy) beach, and the facilities are great. Many of the sites are quite private. We've stayed in both the Riverside and Burley grounds and... More

We have been to Pinery three times now and have loved it every single time. The staff are always helpful and friendly. We have always stayed at the radio free area (Riverside3) and while we can some times hear the music from campers in the other areas at times, we have always enjoyed our time there. We usually stay between... More

Spent 3 nights there, with 3 kids, this month. I was surprised the beach was so nice, and wide choice of campsites so close to the beach (I booked 6 months in advance, mind you). You have wide variety in sites (more / less privacy, electrical / not, wooded / not) even in an individual campground, so judging a whole... More
