Don't get me wrong, we love the Pinery. It's close to where we live (London), lots to do, and a great beach. However, it is a bit too expensive for what it is. We could skip across the border into Michigan and stay at about a dozen other campgrounds within roughly the same distance from our home, on the same... More

The camping here is pretty commercial, geared towards families with kids riding around on bikes, and the store in the middle of the park represents this with its selection of food (lots of junk food). Conversely, this park is amazing for its sunsets, and a trip to the beach should be made every night to watch the sun go down.

My favourite things about the Pinery are the water/beach and the trails. The water is beautiful, clean and clear. Although the beach can be a little rocky and covered in drift wood after bad weather, the area is really nice and not overcrowded. The trails are perfect for people who like spending time outdoors, especially for those who like biking.... More

I've been visiting Pinery since I was a child with my parents. Now I go back with my friends for a great time. I always stay in the Burley area, as it is close to the beach and the sites are nice and pretty private. The bathrooms are clean and easy to get to with running water, flush toilets and... More

My all time favourite place to camp! I grew up coming here with my family as a kid and now I come up with friends. Located on Lake Huron the water and beach is stunning it's feels like you are away on a tropical vacation somewhere. Some days the water is like glass and other there are huge waves to... More

Stayed here this summer with a few friends...Hadn't been since I was young but the place is exactly the same for the better! Great place to get away from it all with friends or family... Campsites are clear, spaced out and big and no one bothers each other, even the mornings are quiet and the nights just filled with silent... More

Fantastic park for family camping. Lots of guided activities for children and adults. Beautifully maintained. Camp sites well maintained with lots of trees for a bit of privacy. Be selective when you choose a site. Those backing on to the forest are the best to watch wildlife such as turkeys, deer, red squirrels and the like. Enjoy

Absolutely stunning hiking trails. Anyone in Grand Bend area needs to check out this park. Beautiful private beach as well. Stopped by here to go for a quick hike and ended up spending the majority of the day. Plan to do a day trip here as the hiking trails are absolutely gorgeous and you wont want to leave.

Pinery provincial park is a beauty park with a great beach and nicely spaced wooded campsites. Staff are friendly, it's close to grandbend so grocery and drug stores etc are close by. There are lots of walking trails and bike paths. The park is very natural looking and is great to visit in any season.

Another wonderful week at Pinery. We have been camping here for the last 20+ years. First with our 2 kids, a now as empty nesters. We started years ago with tents and tarps, about 10 years ago went pop-up trailer, and now are camping in a 27' travel trailer. All areas and types of camping in this park is amazing.... More
