Booked a room in 'Crow's Landing' and were not disappointed by the spacious, double aspect room with both front and rear access (we were able to park immediately outside out room helped greatly with our volume of luggage). Comfy beds, nice furniture and quirky surroundings. All accommodations are in separate buildings which have been renovated so are unique and have... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about us. We think your title choice is perfect because "Rustic Charm" is the aura we try to create here. :) The boardwalk you mentioned has been completed across the estuary now. Yes, we know about the creaky floor boards... I'm afraid that's a feature of these rustic buildings that we have... More

When we arrived several chickens were picking away on the grass surrounding the complex of old buildings that constitute the Ridley Creek Inn. It faces right onto the estuary. Stewart is the most northerly Canadian port on the west coast. A crowing rooster welcomed us. It took us a moment or two to locate the office at the rear of... More

Thanks for the long comments. You have touched on many aspects of our inn and its surroundings. We certainly recognize that our registration office is rather inconspicuous, but our new office is nearing completion and we will turn the old office into another suite. The boardwalk is now complete so you will be able to walk a circle route that... More

Very lovely inn in the centre of Stewart formed by several vintage buidlings. We stayed in the main building in a room with view of the estuary on the top floor. There´s no airco but at the time of our stay it was chilly and the heating worked just fine, and quickly. Sometimes it´s a little noisy, there´s a common... More

Thank you for mentioning the books that are available... I wonder sometimes if anyone notices. :) The "ToastWorks" cafe was in its last few days for the year when you were here. I'm glad you were able to catch it open because by mid-September the summer flow of people has dwindled so we have to close it until next summer.... More

We spent two nights at Ripley Creek Inn and although it rained almost the whole time we were there we enjoyed our stay . Room 303 has a king bed and was very comfortable , wifi was adequate and staff was very helpful . Also the owner has two antique cars parked out front which thrilled my husband .

Thank you for writing about our inn. If you had the king bed you must have been in Rm 301... it's the only king-bed room we have. Frank, the owner of the inn, likes to have those old cars parked where they can be seen. The '57 Chevy seems to be a favorite, so you are not the first woman... More

This is not the type of place my husband and I usually stay. Motivated by wanting to explore the Salmon Glacier before the end of the season, we decided to give it a try. We stayed in 401 which I believe is the McDonald house. The interior of the old home consists of mainly repurposed building materials, antiques, with a... More

It was my first trip to Stewart and was excited about our stay at the Ripley Creek Inn and it did not disappoint ! Granted, we visited during the off season so some attractions were closed but the weather was gorgeous, people friendly and the 2 eateries we dined at were fantastic ! Temptations and Silverado ! We stayed in... More

the owner is buying up the old buildings in this area and converting them to rooms so lots of cool buildings- they have bicycles for free use which are great for seeing this small picturesque town- breakfast place attached to the inn was great - only complaint is that since these are old buildings sound insulation not super but for... We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. We love the eclectic decorating, with interesting vintage pieces. There are several buildings, this time we stayed in the main building in the only king bed room with a view over the estuary and a small deck where we could sit and watch the resident chickens wandering about. There is... More

Stewart is a lovely place! ripely creek inn has a main lodge and some smaller cabins. service is helpful, available and respectful. Clean, great tub a relaxing place to be. there is no picture of this cabin on the site which is bonus because it is the last to be spoken for! I'm glad it was!

We stayed for two nights in the Lehto Cabin which is a reconditioned historical miner's cabin situated separately from the other buildings. The rooms are well-appointed--ours had dressers, table and chairs, full kitchen with two refrigerators. A bonus was it was very quiet for a restful night's sleep. We discovered from other travellers that the other hotel in town wasn't... More
