We stayed 3 nights at the Retasket Lodge and had a lovely experience. The rooms are clean and the lodge is quiet and offers terrific views of the surrounding mountains. It was very peaceful and the managers were kind and helpful. There was a microwave and fridge in the room which was very handy for our family. In the morning,... More

Retasket is a perfect example of 'you can't tell a book by its cover.' From the outside it is a nondescript old motel. However, on the inside its completely different. The rooms have been remodeled and furnished in a very attractive and contemporary manner. The carpeting is new, clean and attractive; the linens are very nice with duvets and duvet... More

This lodge is a really good place to stay in Lillooet; it is clean, quiet and has what a traveller wants - internet, air conditioning and a great view. There is a continental breakfast included. The breakfast room is also clean and the food is fine, there is even a patio. At night it is quiet and you can see the... More

Arrived in the late afternoon, stayed for a week for work in Lillooet. Check in was smooth, although the reception smelt a bit of old cigarette smoke, but that is pretty expected for an old motel and RV park. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed every day (which was better than most resorts I've stayed at in the tropics). The... More

Clean motel, modern furniture, air-conditioned, friendly owners, beautiful location with a great BBQ deck to chat with other guests. The best part was something completely mundane; a small kitchen in the breakfast area that we cooked our own eggs in! So, along with the cereal, muffins, coffee, tea and juice that was provided, we were able to eat some hard-boiled... More

At first appearances this motel looks about average...but the property is well kept and the rooms were great...large, clean and in good repair...lots of little touches...for example foam soap dispensers in the bathroom so you don't have to muck with those silly little bars of soap. It's nice to have a second good sized window at the back of each... More

This place is on the hill (above the Lillooet Hotel) but there is a pathway down to the hotel and downtown area that takes about 5 minutes. No amenities surrounding the Lodge (you could do the walk), but the Lodge offers a fridge and microwave, coffee/tea for the morning, or, you could walk over to a breakfast room for a... More

Comfy bed, large room, quiet, lots & lots of lush towels, and freshly baked muffins with orange juice in the a.m. The A/C worked well and was relatively quiet. I'd stay again on my way through Lillooet.

Overnighted here on our way to Vancouver. The place is at the edge of town, which requires a short drive or hike into town, but it compensates for it with peace and quiet, away from the yahoos revving their engines on main street. A nice feature is the lovely outdoor barbeque with tables, chairs and shade, where you can relax... More

scenery is so beautiful, from Vancouver to Lillooet overnight, carry on in the morning with a stop for breakfast then on to Vancouver, the trip should take 2 days counting a few stops for taking pictures and snacks, the roads are good, if your rideing a Motorcycle it is a little bumpy some places, the Retasket lodge is 1/2 mile...
