My friend and I got the train from Glasgow to Mallaig, taking in the wonderful views along the way. Our greeting on arrival at the Seaview couldn't have been more welcoming from Fiona. The room we had was tastefully decorated with a 'not-over-the -top' touch of Scotland. There were also modern Scottish touches in the public areas too. Our breakfasts... More

Followed the Harry Potter route to Mallaig on the west highland line and was lucky enough to book into the Seaview Guest House for Bed and Breakfast where my wife and I were royally looked after by Fiona and her helpers. Our room was spotless with every facility to hand including wi-fi tv and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast... More

Seaview Guest House is a very nice B+B with a well-equipped room (although on the small side) and an excellent made-to-order breakfast. Would recommend this B+B for those taking the West Highland Line train from London or Glasgow.

it was a ladt minute booking. The Owners were very friendly and accommodating, but room could have done with some Updating, furniture was mismatched and room felt cold. Breakfast was good. Overall enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for one night and when we walked into the room I was blown away with how amazing it was. It was homely and tasteful and we had an amazing view out onto the ocean. We had a perfect night here starting with whisky (provided in the room) as the sun went down. We also had our best... More

Stayed last night (17 Sept )and would support all the reviews about this excellent warm hearted. establishment. Fiona is a first rate welcoming host, a scrupulously clean, well appointed, comfy room that would put many hotels to shame. An even more comfy bed, bright modern bathroom with "proper" bath towels complete the experience. Having had all this I expected the breakfast... More

I visited the Seaview guest house for a second time after coming for the first time last year. After a ten hour door to door journey by train from Leuchars near St Andrews via Edinburgh and Glasgow to Mallaig it was great to receive the lovely welcome from Fiona. There is a saying you either have it or you don't... More

A front door welcome second to none. Fiona is a wonderful host and the room and facilities was excellent. The view over the harbour and out to sea was great. A great place to stay even if it was a wet evening. Breakfast, a full Scottish version again must be experienced.

Stayed two nights here. Travelled by train to Mallaig. Seaview is minutes from the train station and ideal for the ferry terminal too. The warmth of the welcome and the standard of the room were out of this world. Excellent breakfast too. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough. Will definitely be returning.
