Lindsey and Nick made me feel incredibly welcome from the second I stepped through the door to when Nick dropped me off. The room was extremely nice and well laid out. The views were fantastic. The breakfast was a particular highlight. I really like a cooked breakfast and I have to say it was one the best. There are a... More

Took the wonderful train journey from Glasgow to Mallaig & had an overnight here. Excellent accommodation & friendly, helpful hosts. Picked up from the train despite train delay. Lovely walk into town. Spotlessly clean with top class breakfast.

You will feel most welcome by Lindsey and Nick, who run this wonderful B & B just outside Mallaig. The house itself is spacious, light and super clean and so is every single room. The rooms are fitted with very comfortable beds and a welcome tea tray awaits you, offering coffees, teas and hot chocolates - just what you sometimes... More

Stayed in the bluebell room with my girlfriend on the 5th of September. King size bed, beautiful bathroom, stunning views and cracking breakfast. Nick picked us up from the station in the afternoon, dropped us off the following day and gave us tips for what to see and do around Mallaig. A better host you could not ask for. The... More

The room was just lovely, very light and modern. Quite big for a b&b and with a very nice bathroom. We had a very relaxing stay there. There is wifi in the guest lounge, excellent breakfast in the morning and in a quiet and beautiful area, very close to Mallaig where you can find shops, restaurants and the ferry to... More

Totally lovely! The welcome was fantastic. We stayed just one night and Lindsay and Nick really helpful and warm with suggestions. We were visiting skye the next day and they made sure that we planned the best route. Of course, they insisted that we visit the gorgeous loch (15 minutes walk behind their house) as an after breakfast (excellent) digestive.

Stayed here for three nights at the end of July, 2015. The room was clean and had everything you would need. The bathroom even had a heated towel rail and was spotless. The owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming and the location was great for getting to and from Mallaig and the many ferries. A short walk... More

Being at Heatherlea feels like home. Marvellous view from our window, fabulous breakfast, Wi-Fi, scented towels and bedclothes. Nick and his wife are so lovely and good cooks too! Nick get us off at the station and drive us to the b&b and then to ferry terminal too! Walking from Heatherlea to the center of Mallaig during sunset was one... More

My husband, my sister in law and myself stayed here on Saturday 18th July. We had a wonderful time, it was like staying with friends or family. The owners made us very welcome. Mick picked us up from the train station and took us to the guest house, also took us back to the train station in the morning. The... More

We just stayed here one night but really enjoyed it. The hosts were so friendly and even picked us up from the station. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had nice views. The breakfast was delicious. No criticisms at all. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
