We stayed here to catch the train back to Glasgow after a trip to Skye. I can thoroughly recommend the B&B, spotlessly clean, Sandra the owner very friendly and a great breakfast in the morning. Ideal base for catching the ferry to Skye.

Just returned from a three night mid-week stay at this B&B with friends. The owner, Sandra, is very warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to your well-being throughout the stay was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy and nicely furnished in a fresh, decorative style. Shared bathroom, toilet and shower but no problem... More

Lovely accomodation, spotlessly clean and ideal for travelling to Skye or back to Glasgow via train. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of cereals, fruits and cooked breakfast. Definitely woukd recommend this guest house. Many Thanks.

My friend and I stayed here for one night on our way to Knoydart. We received a very friendly welcome on our arrival. Our room was spotlessly clean, and there was a well stocked courtesy tray. There was a plenty of choice for breakfast. Things to note if you are thinking of staying here: There is free parking directly opposite,... More

Much like many GPS-dependants we ended up in Mallaig by accident on route to Skye (in search of the bridge!) and had to stay the night as it was too late to catch the ferry. Springbank was secured for us by a very helpful lady in the local pub. Its a very nice BnB, we had a great nights sleep,... More

Wow! What a visit. Me and my new hubby chose to stay here for a week throughout our honeymoon. On arrival we were greeted with friendly faces and a warm, loving, heartful atmosphere. There was a fantastic family feel to the place which was refreshing, especially as a new couple. I couldn't recommend this place enough, it is an asset... More

I can only re-iterate what everybody else has said; spotless, great breakfast, 2 shower's one of them is a full bathroom, 2 toilets, clean white towels every day. So didn't experience any problems bathroom wise as only 6 rooms. I had a tiny front single no space for unpacking but fantastic views and the owner offered me another room after... More

While this is a lovely B&B with a friendly landlady I have to admit I should have read more fully the list of facilities the establishment provided and understood them as I like my comforts and this was very basic for me. Things I would have considered would be a) there are no en suite options at all which means... More

This B&B has the typical attributes of most places we stayed at during our Scotland trip: a very friendly, welcoming owner, pretty, clean rooms with tea making facilities and biscuits, and delicious breakfast. Bathroom was shared, but it was a rather affordable option compared to other houses, so this does not diminish the value for money at all. I'd be... More

We stayed here for one night whilst on a cycling holidayof the Outer Hebrides and north west Scotland and arrived tired and in need of a cuppa. We received a friendly welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, with tea making facilities that included some very nice (not your run of the mill) biscuits and lots of tea. Cycle-friendly. One... More
