We found The Old Manse by chance on our way down the west coast. The owners gave us a really warm welcome and homemade shortbread on arrival. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable (ours was the twin room overlooking the loch with a bath, perfect after a day hillwalking!). Breakfast was superb, easily the best we had anywhere... We loved staying here. We had a beautiful double bedroom overlooking the Loch and also the twin bedded room next door, both were of a very high standard and in keeping with the Scottish theme. The whole house is well presented with lots of individual touches. \We arrived about 5 pm after long day travelling down through Scotland, and we... More

Very nice and very Scottish house. Views of the loch are fantastic. Very charming rooms. Ours even have an old bath rather than a shower. Breakfast was also very good. It's a bit remote from everything, but it's great if that is what you are looking for.

We got this place recommended by another place we stayed up in Badcall Bay. The place is an ancient house but wonderfully upkept, directly on the Loch with our room even had a view. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, bathrooms are of good size. Bed and linens are top quality and comfortable, free wifi that works well, parking is... More

The Old Manse is definitely a place I would like to go back. Susan and Stuart are welcoming so kindly their guest, they are very helpful and they do all what they can to make this stay something exceptionel. I felt like in a family home. The place is very peaceful, with a strong typical scotish identity, the rooms decoration... More

Room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We were accommodated at short notice, and were made very welcome with home baking and fresh milk for our tea tray. Breakfast was good and sufficient choice. We visited parts of Wester Ross we didn't expect to on this trip, and that was a great bonus.

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a warm welcome. Arriving about 4.00pm we were offered fresh milk for the tea and cake. We had booked dinner on our first night and enjoyed a tasty Venison Stew and nice pudding. Breakfasts were very good and Stuart and Susan are great hosts. A comfortable attractive place with wonderful views. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at The Old Manse and are really glad we did. Stuart and Susan were lovely hosts and really happy to help if needed - the offer of fresh milk for tea is a winner with us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view from Room 3 was incredible. Would happily recommend this B+B on the strength... More

Lovely B&B host Susan was very accommodating. Breakfast lovely and loads of it, overall highly recommendable. Nice location and amazing view from our room. The room was large and very clean, we had the room with bath only which was lovely after a long day. A few restaurants in the area.

Possibly the best B&B we've ever stayed in, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely hosts, great location and fantastic food. Don't bother going out to eat as the evening meals were lovely and very reasonably priced. If you can, go for room 3 which has lovely views of the loch.
