We stayed in the chalet for one night on our NC500 road trip. The accommodation was modern, comfortable, very well equipped and had a great view of the loch. Breakfast was served in the main house (again with an amazing view) with all guests around one big table - great to hear about other peoples travels! Tasty fish and chips... More

A great place to spend a night or 2. Very friendly. The house is very modern and the views across Lochcarron are amazing. We had the front side room which had windows and door on 2 sides which gave us super views from our room. Many thanks.

Located just above the small village of Lochcarron the B&B offers two bedrooms in the main house and another one in a gorgeous little chalet right next door. We stayed in the chalet and I really regret that we were only there for one night! The chalet is well appointed with a full kitchen and a fireplace! Emma was absolutely... More

We have now stayed several times with Emma and Andrew and we really love our visits. The rooms are very comfortable with all amenities and you enjoy a good breakfast overlooking the Loch. Separate chalet for self catering. Such a lovely family, we love this B&B. Highly recommend.

My family and I spent two nights here with a great view on Lochcarron. Our hosts were very friendly, breakfast was excellent (try the black pudding and kippered herring!). The place is a great basis for walking tours and visiting castles. We will come back again!

We stayed at the Loch Dubh B&B on the 6th and 7th September, and the only pity was that we couldn't stay there on the 8th because it was fully booked. Andrew met us when we arrived to let us into the self catering chalet. What a fantastic view over Loch Carron! The chalet was spacious, light and spotlessly clean.... More

My husband and I stayed in the self catering chalet next to the house, which also accomodates guests. The views on Lochcarron are great from there. The chalet itself was very clean, well equiped and comfortable, with basically anything you need. Such a pity we could only spend one night in this lovely place! Emma is a very welcoming hostess,... Myself and my husband stayed here just by luck on the saturday of bank holiday. we arrived in lochcarron with the hope of a room and after a little misshap with the door bell, we were really pleased to find that they had a room. the location and layout of the b and b is perfect. We had a double room... Stayed here for just one night with my seventeen year old son, Emma was the perfect host, the property was in an exceptional position overlooking the lake, the room was excellent – beautifully clean with lovely furnishings and the most powerful shower I have ever experienced. I cannot fault this B&B in anyway and would definitely recommend to friends and... More

My wife and I stayed in the chalet for a long weekend. We were cycling around the area and although the weather wasn't as nice as we had hoped for, coming back to base was a pleasure. Being so modern it is very well insulated/heated, and the views through the big windows are tremendous. All facilities are very good (inc... More
