Camped up the hill behind the hotel in the Wee Campsite, and walked down for dinner. Lively local pub as well as tourist hotel, the bar was busy but plenty of space to find a quiet table to eat, The dining area has fantastic view out across the loch. The menu was excellent for a small hotel off the main... More

The picture above is the room we stayed in pictures lie!! This whole property needs refurbishing badly their dogs sit on the furniture in the sun sort of lounge area. The bedrooms leave a lot a lot to be desired and they charge £85 per night for a double room B & B. The bathroom in our room had a... More

Great room (room 6) looking over the loch, and the best mince and tattles ever, apart from my mams (of course)! Wonderful location. Decent WiFi which does not need special login so was good for my works laptop too. Nice bar with good atmosphere.

stayed here with a bunch of mates on a bike trip to Applecross Pass & it's a cracking base with really good & freindly staff & locals alike - it ain't the Ritz but there it's got much better views, great food & plenty of beer - thoroughly recommended :)

They had a budget single room which suited me - the decor is a bit shabby but the staff are friendly, food is good and the bar is the local hotspot, with live music on the Friday too. A good signal on the free wifi. The best bit was the bath which was steaming hot and massive - perfect after... More

We didn't stay in the hotel but had an absolutely fantastic meal on 18th March(which was excellent value for money and not at all expensive). The chef and the owner's wife must be at the top of their class as the dishes were very, very good. I have to say I have NEVER EVER tasted a better cheesecake (blueberry)!!! The... More

2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2015

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The reason for my rating of 2 is mainly due to the tiredness of the place. The fact that the decor and maintenance was so poor probably made it seem more dirty than it actually was. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. On the plus side the food we had was good... More

This hotel is certainly worth 5 stars. My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and were very happy. The owners were very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable as it was a very welcoming atmosphere. The 2 black labs were very friendly. The room was lovely with an amazing view out the window of the loch. Also... More
