Despite good quality waterproofs and boots we arrived wet through, having walked all day in pouring rain alongside Loch Lomond. Muriel was not phased or bothered and took all our damp clothing through to her side of the house for drying. I understand from people who stayed at the Drovers Inn that evening that the Drovers were not able to... More

Warm welcome from Muriel. Spacious comfy clean room, we had on suite with shower and bath. Great breakfast chosen the night before. Excellent location for walkers and driving tourists. Drovers within 200yds.....what more can you expect.

The room was spacious and warm with a bath and shower. Muriel was pleasant enough but not overly chatty like others have been. The décor is dated but the place was clean enough. Breakfast was fine but sausages weren't the best and mushrooms could have been tinned so didn't eat them. Ordered packed lunches but didn't eat the sandwiches as... More

This was a very welcome stop, after poor bunkhouse accommodation at Inversnaid. It was warm, good standard of furnishing, comfortable beds, slept really well. Breakfast, a good standard was ordered the night before and cooked to order. Two rooms had en suite facilities but a bathroom was available for the other and baths are very welcome when walking. Owners very... More

After the third day on the WHW we stayed in the Rose Cottage. We were friendly welcomed by Muriel. We had a nice big room with huge private bathroom opposite of our room. Muriel served a good breakfast next morning. For the stage of Inverarnan this is probably the best choice to stay.

We stopped here overnight after day 3 walking the West Highland Way. The room was spacious, but it had only a shower and the bed was not that comfortable. Breakfast was fine, although one of my fellow walkers struggled with the porridge (he is not keen on the Scottish way of making it with water & salt). Overall it was... More

We stayed in this B&B on The West Highland Way & were very disappointed compared to other B&Bs we stayed in on our trip. Firstly as we arrived to the B&B late one night, after calling ahead to warn the owner, we were met with an unwelcoming owner. We were pointed to our rooms & carried out luggage upstairs ourselves.... More

We returned here three years on while doing the West Highland Way for the 2nd time. Warm welcome again from Muriel. Lovely large room with plenty of hanging space and we had the room with ensuite bath this time. Lovely breakfast.

We were given room 3, which was very modern with a bath and a separate shower. The room was very large, and had a double bed and a single bed, and even a fold up bed in the corner so it could have slept 4. Nice touches including bath foam and a pack of playing cards in the drawers. Breakfast... More

Spacious accommodation and a spotless en suite - a particularly appealing bath to soak in after a long trek. The breakfast was also to be recommended. Well worth a stay. No TV in the room, but good wi-fi provision compensated for this.
