A warm welcome, spotless accomodation, a cozy lounge (great assortment of books!) a comfy bed, a good nights sleep and a first class breakfast to set me up for the day. This was only a 1 x night stay, but if the meetings I had today in Lockerbie went as well as I think they did I will CERTAINLY be... More

Second time in annan. First time staying here ....lovely warm friendly atmosphere, great staff, comfy rooms and great breakfast ...first class and highly recommended. Annan distillery is a great tour and comlongon castle a perfect place to dine. There's a lovely Italian restaurant two mins walk from guest house and the high street. Perfectly situated.

I have never experienced Annan before now and I can tick that off my list. As a small, rural Southern Scottish town there isn't much to the place but it has a few places to eat and a couple to drink in. The Rowanbank Guest House was very comfortable place run by a very friendly landlady. As we chatted she... More

Stayed here for 2 nights...only 2 of us but we were in a family room ,had a choice of 2 double or 1 single bed...was very clean and comfy,tv,coffee and tea facilities..the towels were better than home so thick and big...the lighting was the energy saving bulbs so found room slightly dark....had a lounge to read in so that solved... Was a bit worried when we arrived at 3.30pm and front door was locked, but did manage to gain access at about 4pm. Glad we did, it is a lovely place to stay, the manager was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was delicious, we would definitely stay here again.

Not many people must come to Annan on vacation, but for those caring to go a step off the main M74 drag, this is a very nice B&B. We had a very big room, with bathroom manoeuvred into the available space in an old house (not huge, but adequate). Nice and warm in a cold May, with well cooked breakfast... More

Stopped here on the off chance on the was to Highlands, as it was half way for us. What a lucky find. Room was quite basic but clean and warm. We were on the ground floor, I imagine upstairs in the Victorian part of the house the rooms have more character. The breakfast was lovely, just what we needed for... More

Having stopped here before, I was a little wary of returning, however the Rowanbank was as I remembered it - welcoming and comfy. The owners are very friendly and the lounge has a range of books, games and dvds to keep guests entertained. Rowanbank is a short walk from a range of good places to eat and the high street... More

Stopped here on a cycling challenge. They couldn't be more helpful. Locked our bikes away and gave us a great welcome. Room was very good and so was the breakfast. Handy for the local shops and bars but enough away so it was quiet. Happy stay again.
