Stayed in family room with 2 young daughters. Room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and nice cooked breakfast. Would recommend without hesitation.

The Old Rectory is a beautiful Victorian building, with clean, comfortable rooms, and very welcoming hosts. We'd been travelling around the UK, staying in B&Bs, and the breakfast here was probably the best we had all week. Our only quibble was with Annan itself. We stayed there to see Hadrian's Wall, which is only about an hour away back in... More

Arrived late after traffic delays to a lovely welcome from the owner who coincidentally comes from our neck of the woods in the midlands. Annan is a great place to stop over when going further up north as only just off the M6 but decided we wanted to stay at somewhere more than an awful travel lodge. Our room was... More

Good location within easy walking of Annan town centre. The place is clean and comfortable with good sized rooms and en-suite, ok its not a power shower but it serves, plus a pleasant host and good quality breakfasts served. Therapy is available but popular and you should book in advance should you wish to take advantage of the service. Would... More

And as enjoyable as previously, Clean comfortable, and particularly convenient for visiting the south west of Scotland. Great breakfasts as always. Annan is a relatively unknown little town 'south of the border', but we have come to love its character, (and some of its characters!), its history and sense of 'place'. Will be back!

Annan was a one night stop on our way further north. Very pleased we chose the Old Rectory. Lovely old building tastefully modernised inside while keeping the best original features. Warm welcome by host. Very spacious and comfortable room upstairs facing the garden so very quiet. Good choice of buffet and cooked to order full breakfast. No problem with street... More

We were coming into the area late saturday night and we had no room booked; we were dreading the hassle of finding a room. We called the hotel ahead of our arrival and managed to book a room straight away, we werent harrassed for all our details and it was just kept simple. We arrived at the hotel at midnight... More

I stayed here with my partner and 2 friends. we didn't have rooms on the front so didn't really get any noise problems that other reviewers have mentioned other than hearing a few late night revellers on the Fri night. We stayed 3 nights and really liked it. good size and clean rooms, excellent freshly cooked breakfast of your choice,... More

This is a lovely family-run B&B in the middle of Annan. I stayed four nights in a clean, comfortable and spacious en suite room. It looked out to the front so yes it was a bit noisy at night/ early in the morning as other reviewers have mentioned - but closing the window muffled the noise enough to ignore it.... More
