This little secret is simply amazing, new to this trip advisor but this should be getting top marks. 5 star service and such a homely place, which we came across by accident while on holiday. Very clean, but dated as you would think as it's not your modern hotel. But very good and would stay again

The interior decor is In need of some renovation and more comfortable beds and pillows would make a tangible difference. As my room faced the busy road, traffic noise was a nuisance and closed windows made it stuffy. A good nights sleep was compromised by these shortcomings. Parking is on the busy road outside, although I was told there was... More

I stayed one night for work and thought the facilities were sufficient: large, clean bedroom and clean en-suite, although the furnishings seemed a little 'tired'. However, the room was on the street side and was noisy, with passing traffic, until around 10.30/11pm. Then it was quiet until morning. The breakfast room was bright and pleasant but I thought the breakfast... More

Three of us stayed here on a motor cycle tour of Scotland. Very comfortable, good breakfast and a safe place to park the bikes. Made to feel very welcome by the host, Dave, who was very friendly and also helped us carry our luggage to our rooms. I recommend.

I have just returned from 3 nights stay at The Old Rectory, and cannot recommend it highly enough. We stayed in a lovely room facing the front. It was a good size with all the facilities you would want. It had a nice bathroom with a big shower and was very clean. What made the stay special, was the family... More

Stayed in family room with 2 young daughters. Room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and nice cooked breakfast. Would recommend without hesitation.

The Old Rectory is a beautiful Victorian building, with clean, comfortable rooms, and very welcoming hosts. We'd been travelling around the UK, staying in B&Bs, and the breakfast here was probably the best we had all week. Our only quibble was with Annan itself. We stayed there to see Hadrian's Wall, which is only about an hour away back in... More

Arrived late after traffic delays to a lovely welcome from the owner who coincidentally comes from our neck of the woods in the midlands. Annan is a great place to stop over when going further up north as only just off the M6 but decided we wanted to stay at somewhere more than an awful travel lodge. Our room was... More

Good location within easy walking of Annan town centre. The place is clean and comfortable with good sized rooms and en-suite, ok its not a power shower but it serves, plus a pleasant host and good quality breakfasts served. Therapy is available but popular and you should book in advance should you wish to take advantage of the service. Would... More

And as enjoyable as previously, Clean comfortable, and particularly convenient for visiting the south west of Scotland. Great breakfasts as always. Annan is a relatively unknown little town 'south of the border', but we have come to love its character, (and some of its characters!), its history and sense of 'place'. Will be back!
