It was the 3rd time we stayed at the Kildrummy Castle hotel - and must say it gets even better. The mother and daughter running the place are doing a great job - the ambience, facilities, much more efficient stuff , make the place a real pleasure

The Hotel is set in lovely grounds and the drive up is very pretty. The welcome is warm and the staff are all very helpful. The communal areas are very olde worlde and in the evening I like the way the rooms all have candles on the table. The log fires in all the rooms are also lit giving the... More

We stayed 1 night but wish it was more. It felt like we had gone back in time. The whole experience was wonderful from the friendly greeting. We were upgraded at no cost and the staff were extremely attentive. The bedroom was beautiful as was the bathroom. We had pre-dinner drinks by the fire then dinner in the immaculate dining... More

What can I say! I went with the view to capturing the castle but the castle captured me! On my arrival I was greeted by the owner Madame Claude who was welcoming and friendly with a touch Gaelic charm. The hotel itself is like an olde worlde castle but with a twist of individuality which I find in my own... More

The house and grounds, superb, staff attentive, food average. However the thing that most bothered me was the state of the bathroom. Mouldy carpet, damp smell. Just generally unclean. To make matters worse, when we tried to shower, there was barely a trickle of water and I mean a trickle. I struggled to shower and immediately after I went straight... More

What a wonderfull place to have our reception. Perfect in every way. I cant think of anything negative to say. The building, the location, the food, the decor and the staff all made for a wonderfull memorable time. We were a party of 17 who all arrived mid afternoon, we were served delicious pre dinner nibbles and then a wonderfull... More

The family who run the hotel and staff were friendly and welcoming to our family and added a few really nice touches as it was our honeymoon.Picturesque and atmospheric hotel, the library and drawing room were particularly lovely touches and the food was excellent. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a side room for the kids... More

It is a little out of the way and in the beginning, you think you're going the wrong way but it is well worth the trip. Our room was a spacious superior room with a king size bed and lots of space. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and no shower however it had a spa jet... More

We arrived in pitch dark with no way of knowing what we would find around us come dawn. Peering from our second story window we could see a little of the lighted gardens, and upon opening the window we could hear only water flowing somewhere nearby and the wind in the trees. Come morning, we were spellbound by the sight... More

We stayed there as part of a large group. The grounds and public areas are wonderful. Yes, some of the comments in other posts are true that the bar is small, the rooms can be a little dated, and there is no air condiitoning. But, I found the food in the restaurant to be great and the prices to be... More
