Unfortunately we stayed here last night and were extremely disappointed by what we found. We had originally booked into the garden room but were told on arrival this had been changed due to work being done on the room, so we were staying in the barn. The location and setting is very tranquil- literally in the middle of no where... More

My girlfriend (who halfway through the stay became my fiancée) and I loved our stay at the treehouse. A really imaginative piece of architectural and interior design. The treehouse is romantic and adventurous. A little creaky up in the tree during the night, with the breeze going past, but it adds to the experience. Breakfast was fantastic too, set in... More

The treehouse was great fun and a work of great imagination. Very snug and warm, despite the evening chill, and the elevation amongst the trees afforded a different perspective to the wildlife and woodland surroundings. The cottage gardens, with their ferns and olive tree were a pleasure. Breakfast in the conservatory was a real treat. Had a great time and... More

We had planned to stay in the tree house but bad weather necessitated a switch to the Garden Room. If you are looking for a luxury boutique type of accommodation, this is not for you. What you do get, however, is a warm and comfortable room with en suite, a range of interesting books, artifacts from Africa, a great homemade... More

Firstly - the negative reviews are obviously by people who cannot appreciate something so beautiful and amazing. Yes it's remote, yes it might have a cobweb or two, but you are staying in the treehouse in a forest!!!! The Treehouse is unique, original and beautiful, decorated with an artist's imagination. If you want generic five-star Hilton 'luxury 'this might not... More

Beautifully situated in a secluded location our anniversary was celebrated staying in the beautiful garden room. This elegantly furnished en suite room was a treet! Breakfast was delicious, fruit, cereal and a good quality tasty full English. The host and hostess were very accommodating and friendly. Will be coming again....

I booked the Treehouse for our anniversary about 6 months ago and rang as advised a week before to confirm final arrival arrangements, to be told it was not available now but to call back two days before we were due to stay. We received a call to say it WAS now available, which was a relief as we had... More

We stayed 2 nights in The Barn, something we were really looking forward to. We paid £135 per night and were very very disappointed! Although the location is lovely, it's ruined by the fact that the car parking spaces for The Barn and Treehouse are directly outside so your view from the living space is destroyed. As soon as we... We stayed in the treehouse for a night. I spent the whole time saying wow! I really don't understand how anyone could write a bad review...guess you can't please some people! It was so peaceful sleeping in the woods & very well thought out & designed. I really didn't want to come home. We found a lovely pub called The... More

We stayed here for our 24th wedding anniversary in April 2013. We were expecting something different and boy did we get it. The treehouse is one of those places that dictate what you do simply by being. The swing seats on the veranda mean that you have to just cover up, read and drink wine, whilst overlooking the garden and... More
