Most surreal visit to this place. We have been here a few times over the years. The last time we visited was 2 or 3 years ago, so I don't know if the owner's have changed. The food then was okay at best, reminded my of the style pubs out of the 70's/80's. It was supposed to be a special... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your comments, despite your claims that we were quiet and had plenty of tables available and the unpleasant manner, rudeness and attitude towards myself I would like to explain as to why you were unable to get a table. Bank holiday Monday we were extremely busy producing over 100 home cooked fresh meals for happy... More

We popped down to The Swan on Saturday evening for a bar meal. They were in a panic because a large group had just come into the restaurant and wouldn't let us order any food. We had a drink and after about 20 minutes or so asked again if we could order some food. We were told that we might... More

Whilst we are sorry we were unable to accommodate you on a busy Saturday night, and it is always a regret to turn custom away , our expected bookings must come first. We do encourage customers to book for the weekends to avoid this situation arising. We are proud to be reviewed by yourself along with The Cottage Tandoori in... More

Hi all at the Swan Inn, We would just like to say a huge thank you for our wonderful stay. It really was the perfect stay. We both absolutely loved the food, credit to the chef's everything was packed full of flavour. It was one of the best meals we have had out in a long time, puts some of... More

We have recently stayed at this lovely pub, the bedrooms were tastefully furnished, comfy beds. Fantastic breakfast, great staff and amazing evening meal. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful old pub caught our eye when driving past and screamed at us to pop in. Hobgoblin on tap was as good as it gets, the pub had great character, excellent selection of beer, an open fire and a clean modern feel that complemented the old building Pleasant and helpful bar maid topped off the visit.

Confusing arrangement for check-in, the sign for reception being at one end of the building, and the actual reception at the other. A lovely and fascinating building, the en-suite room was fine and comfortable, complete with exposed stone walls and unpainted wooden beams. A shame the toilet seat in the en-suite would not stay up - this must cause cleaning... More

Stopped by recently for lunch again. Great pub, good food and more than friendly staff - recommend highly. Find it, you will not be disappointed. A proper english public house with all you should expect.

I haven't stayed here for a number of years but it was still as good as ever. It is under new ownership and they couldn't have made me feel more welcome, they were extremely hospitable. The food was great and the rooms lovely and clean. It is in a quiet location with parking available outside. Would strongly recommend staying at... More

We stayed here for a family party of 12 people just after Christmas. This is a lovely, family-run pub with a very traditional village atmosphere. You're made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The beer is good (Harvey's) and the locals are chatty. They welcome dogs here, which is why we stayed. There is ample parking. The rooms are really... More
