This is a 400-year old pub, very quaint with squeaky floorboards and with several rooms. Our room was very nice, albeit rather chilly even with the radiators at full blast. No doubt in the spring and summer this is not a problem. Dinner was very good indeed - local pheasant with mash and daily pie were excellent. Service was attentive.... More

We stayed one night at the Swan Inn and found it to be good value for money. A beautiful old building with pleasant accommodation upstairs and a very traditional bar / restaurant downstairs. Our room had a few small issues, the shower did not have hot water but did get luke warm after a few minutes and was a bit... More

Visited for lunch. Good food, reasonably priced with helpful and attentive staff. Excellent beer. The menu choice is good and with a good selection of beers including, on the day, Timothy Taylor Landlord one of my favourites and apparently Madonna's too - but I tasted it before she did.

We had a one night stay and wish we had booked longer! Friendly staff, lovely food. Lovely log fire and atmosphere in the pub itself. We stayed in the converted stables, which were quirky, warm with high standard of decoration. The beds very lovely and comfortable - loved the duvet! Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I have driven past the Swan many times over the past few years, but it has always been en-route to somewhere else with a deadline for arrival so never really had the time to call in. However last week we decided to pop in for a lunchtime drink to investigate what it was like. We were greeted... More

We stayed here for a family wedding. The inn is very nice, old and the rooms have wooden beams on the ceiling and are oldie-worldie. We stayed in one of the rooms in the outhouse/ old stables. The bathroom could have had a slight do up but otherwise no complaints about our room. Unfortunately though the breakfast was a let... More

I have stayed at the Swan Inn twice now and I am always treated so well. The pub serves outstanding food and really well priced. The rooms are comfortable, cosy and immaculately clean. Beyond the wonderful food and rooms the staff are always happy to do anything to make your stay or dinner a great experience. There are some great... More

Stayed for one night 01 October 2015 whilst working in the area. Great B&B with comfortable and clean rooms. The rooms were well decorated and maintained and the staff were very welcoming. Down stairs there is a very nice traditional pub that serves very good food and they have a good selection of real ales. The only bad point for... More

We stayed in room 5 with a beautifully comfortable 4 poster bed. We stayed 2 nights for our sons wedding. Bed amazing, room gorgeous and staff brilliant. We didn't eat in the restaurant but my sister did and said the food was very good. The staff were so accommodating even when we came back to the hotel after the main... More
