Very clean place, convenient to visit the caves especially if you go as a family. Nothing to get too excited about but absolutely worth for a stay at Wookey especially considering you get entrance to the caves and free parking included in the price

This "hotel" is a bit of an enigma in that it is not really a hotel but is a bit of a cross between a hotel and a travelodge/Premier Inn. Plenty of parking. Reception rather frosty, a smile would go a long way. The room was reasonably large but bland would not come near describing it but what do you... More

First impressions of the hotel itself was very good. Clean and modern and reasonably priced. However we didnt eat in the restaurant other than breakfast as the prices were too high. A twenty minute drive into Street proved that there were lovely, varied and reasonable restaurants nearby. My only 'complaints' were a large number of non British staff - language... More

I stayed here with my two (teenage) children during the Summer Holidays for 4 nights. We wanted to stay in Wells as we are all 'Hot Fuzz'' fans, and I wanted to visit Wookey Hole. So I booked. I had read the reviews and wasn't expecting much, so wasn't disappointed!!! Reception Staff were fine with us, although a little short... More

Having decided to take out three young daughters away for the bank holiday we decided to tie wookey hole in with the much anticipated trip to Weston pier by them. Found a fab offer on late rooms. Located literally a stones throw away from the caves, it was well kept and presentable from the outside. We had a family room... More

Stayed for one night after longleat and before wookey visit. All in all a very pleasant stay. We found all staff to be friendly and very helpful in the hotel and the caves and restaurant. We paid for the summer package for a family of four which includes breakfast and cave entry. We thought the package was quite reasonable. My... More

booked for a short break. Have visited wookey hole many time, but it has changed greatly and is an excellent indoor attraction. Glad we stayed over as would have been tiring travelling even from S. Devon after the full day of events including circus, 4d cinema, play area, golf and of course the caves. Free admission to the attractions made... More

Stayed for one night in Executive room. The cost of the room was not reflected in the amenities or comfort of the room. The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was a 'wet' room, no toiletries apart from dispensers. Breakfast was served across the road and was very basic! (Fresh fruit was tinned grapefruit and tinned oranges). The room was... More

Stayed o/n 25/8/14, booked 2 rooms through Expedia. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Prem Inn/travel lodge set up- clean and basic- all you need for an overnight stay. Tea coffee etc. Didn't have breakfast- bought croissant etc at Budgens up the road as we were going to Cheddar for the day. Had two rooms- they were... More

Good hotel, on door step of Wookey Hole Attraction. Basically like a Travelodge. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very hard. Didn't bother with the breakfast option as thought it expensive, so can't comment on the quality of the food. Large bar in hotel which was always empty but bar prices reasonable. Good hotel for a base. Plenty of... More
