Stayed for one night in Executive room. The cost of the room was not reflected in the amenities or comfort of the room. The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was a 'wet' room, no toiletries apart from dispensers. Breakfast was served across the road and was very basic! (Fresh fruit was tinned grapefruit and tinned oranges). The room was... More

Stayed o/n 25/8/14, booked 2 rooms through Expedia. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Prem Inn/travel lodge set up- clean and basic- all you need for an overnight stay. Tea coffee etc. Didn't have breakfast- bought croissant etc at Budgens up the road as we were going to Cheddar for the day. Had two rooms- they were... More

Good hotel, on door step of Wookey Hole Attraction. Basically like a Travelodge. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very hard. Didn't bother with the breakfast option as thought it expensive, so can't comment on the quality of the food. Large bar in hotel which was always empty but bar prices reasonable. Good hotel for a base. Plenty of... More

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. The room had bits of fluff on the floor when we first entered but that was the only fault in terms of the room. We stayed in the couple room & one of the cleaners accidently entered our room through these double doors, in the middle of our room, without knocking.I was... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay. Hotel adequate and very similar to Travelodge/Premier Inn standards, just more expensive. We used it as a base to visit Wookey Hole caves, Cheddar Gorge, Weston Super-Mare etc. A couple of the reception staff were completely unhelpful and not interested in their guests whatsoever, couldn't even be bothered to ask us if we'd... Arrived Tuesday 19th august and had an easy check in, room very clean and spacious even with 2 adults and3 children. We needed another bed for one of the children and was told it was no problem but did turn out to be a problem as there was only one member of staff on reception and could not leave to... More

We also ate in the restaraunt and it was good. And the wookey hole attraction is also well worth... More

Staff on reception; unfriendly, unhelpful and uncooperative. Trying to get info from them was painful at best. Made to feel like a 2nd rate citizen if you do not eat there and can only engage in activities when food paying guests had had their fun. Nut allergy sufferers beware. You will not be catered for and told to eat your... More

The hotel is new, the rooms are in line with premier inn quality. Its a shame the walls are no where near soundproof, neither are the doors. As a family aimed hotel there are lots of shouting children, this is to be expected in an age where kids control their parents, but what I didn't expect where shouting adults up... More

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in August 2013 when visiting Bath and Glastonbury Tor. Booked online and despite it obviously being more geared up for family's than couples, the hotel was very good and would highly recommend. Think Premier inn type of accommodation but able to book just Bed as we ate elsewhere and... More
