Visited Seed Hill recently on route to the Lake District. Picked Seed Hill after reading the reviews on this site. I was not dissapointed. Excellent choice of breakfast with nothing too much trouble for the host, Adrian. Rooms are very comfortable with all the usual amenities and plenty of hot water after a day in the hills or down the caves. This is our second stay and we have no hesitation in returning to such a lovely B & B. more

Place is old and has loads of character but really could do with redecoration. Room was spacious but could have done with a good dusting and the shower was a little grimy. Good choice for breakfast but wasn’t brilliant quality. Place is OK for 1 night, I wouldn’t go again. more
