Marton Arms Hotel is a fantastic hotel in a very pictureseque setting in the Yorkshire Dales (and only about 10/15 min walk from village of Ingleton). We enjoyed a very relaxing stay here, with great service, meals and selection of ales. The accommodation was of an excellent standard too - very clean and comfortable with lovely views. By far the... more

Yet another superb visit to the Marton, we take University Students caving - we always stay here - the students reside elsewhere! Have been coming here for over 20 years - great atmosphere and hand pulled real ale - I do like Dent Brewery. Rooms and facilities still as good as when Colin Elsden was the owner - all staff... more

This is so nearly a gem of a hotel, and right up to close to the end of my one-night stay I would have rated it excellent. Read on for why I can't. I got the details from the local tourist information place in Ingleton and at first was wary of another pub/hotel, having just had a terrible experience staying... more

Excellent stay, food looks and tastes really good. The portions are exactly what is needed after a hard day on the hills and washed down with very well looked after real ales. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and really looked after everyone. Well worth a visit and I would go back again. more

Well, having read some of the previous reviews about this hotel, I was a little unsure about what we were getting into. But there was no need to worry, and I am glad we stayed there. The food was great, the beer brilliant (such a free range of quality real ales that far surpassed most other places in town), and... more

We have just returned from a weekend break, staying in the Marton Arms, and if we hadn't had to return to work we would have stayed on in the place! After reading some of the reviews, we were a bit uncertain about what our experience would be like, but we are pleased to say that the stay was without fault!... more

We had been wary about booking here due to some of the reviews on this web-site fortunately Sue Stephenson had replied to a previous comment and this encouraged us to book at the Marton Arms, and we are so glad we did! First impressions, a welcoming cosy bar area, and the room we were allocated was clean with a small... more

We had previously stayed at the Marton Arms on numerous occasions but hadnt been for about 4 years so we decided to book a couple of nights in August of this year. Our experience of this place had always been excellent, with great accommodation, food and friendly staff. So we were a bit concerend about some of the reviews we... more

On first looking at this review I thought the couple had just stayed at the Marton Arms as the first date you see is August. A bit unfair as when you read on the stay was actually in February! I took over the Marton Arms in May. I used to work here when it was privately owned and was a...
