This place is perfect. I visited the Marton arms frequently about 15 years ago and returned there yesterday. It's still as perfect as I remember it. Very relaxed atmosphere with lovely welcoming staff. The food is amazing, I've been dreaming of it for 15 years and it did not disappoint. Dog and family friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean.... More

Had a fabulous meal with our friends couldn't fault it at all. Chips to die for and the most succulent lamb ever. Gammon beautiful. Pie mmmmmm Husbands had a field day trying all the ales they do. Traditional pub with fabulous food, what a find. When we are on our own we will go for the weekend and stay there.

Had a brilliant 4 day stay!!! We had a ground floor room with the best walking shower room ever!!! Was more like a power shower! This country pub maybe a little bit dated but this just adds to the charm of the place. The food was excellent too. The staff were very friendly & could not do enough for you..... More

As part of a party of 4, having already booked into this pub, we went there with some trepidation having read a particular review on this web site. We need not have worried as the pub we read about did not resemble the Marton Arms. There was a warm welcome with good food and beer on arrival. We were shown... More
