We only stayed one night and we were really late arriving. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and after a long journey their warm hospitality was just what was needed. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the service was again fantastic. We would recommend. Thanks to the craven heifer Inn for looking after... More

We stayed here for two nights over the New Year and had a fabulous time. Nigel and his team made us feel very welcome. Our friends took their dog George who was also made welcome. Our room (3) was spacious and the shower was great, plenty of hot water and powerful. We had a meal New Years eve which was... More

A group of six of us stayed at the Craven Heifer in Ingleton the weekend of the 7th November. We had a great time, the Licensee Nigel and his wife were great, Nigel is a bit of a character, Pippa behind the bar was a real grafter and nothing was too much trouble, as was Jack the waiter, both of... The welcome is very friendly. The menu choice is limited. The steak and ale pie had a good flavour and pastry. The Cumberland pie and lasagne were also ok. The portions were big and good value but don't come here if you are looking for a gourmet experience.

We were looking for a cheap break in the Dales and we tried the Craven Heifer as they had a "three nights for the price of two" offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room adequate for our needs, and there was a great selection of ales on offer (that it would have been rude not to sample!)... More

We booked to stay here at short notice with our 2 dogs. Nigel was very accomodating with our booking. Room clean, excellent shower. Tremendous breakfast. Don't expect frills. But if you want a comfy and functional room, good food and beer this is ideal. Will be visiting again if we are back in the area.

Hello to all. I couldn't stand this place and would not recommend in to anyone. We arrived at around 18:00 and there looked to be a good variety of food on the menu; I chose the lamb shank and this tasted awful, microwaved and was of a POOR quality. The manager's were arrogant and unsociable with the customers, I live... More

Hi thanks for your review firstly can I say that we do not microwave our food it is freshly cooked, if there was dog excrement in the garden it was from a customers dog which we have no control over and it would have been picked up if somebody had mentioned it. If you found a hair in your food... More
