Remembered The Wheatsheaf from 15 years ago as being a great pub for food (lots of specials on the board) and dog friendly so thought we would come again as we were in the area. The sign outside advertised Sunday Roasts which we wanted and dogs welcome.I asked the barmaid if they were still serving food to which the reply was... Called in to The Wheatsheaf Inn today with family members who are visiting from down South.... After a lovely day exploring we purposely drove to Ingleton to find the Wheatsheaf Inn to go for a meal together. On arrival the sign outside the Pub said "Sunday Roast Dinners" and also dogs welcome!.. Perfect we thought! How wrong were we?! 5... More

A very friendly welcome,a nice pint, decent breakfast, our room could have done with a lick of paint and a bit of an extra clean, though as we only paid £40 bandb we found it hard to complain. We cant comment on the food has we only had breakfast, but we did see a few dishes passing us and they looked tasty. All in... More

I have stayed here on a few occasions and the place has never failed to deliver. The staff are superb and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Its location in the heart o f the village is a big plus, and the restaurant is excellent. During my last visit the guest rooms were undergoing a revamp, and... More

I have already stayed at the Wheatsheaf Inn in Ingleton before and have always had a nice stay therefore decided to take my dad there for his birthday weekend as we all love this part of the country and planned to do a walk / enjoy a few drinks and food. We booked a double room for my wife and... More

Had a two night stay, friendly staff and landlord. Pleasant bar and restaurant. Clean bedroom, shower room adequate (refurbishment in progress). Very good food, good choice of beers. Dog and muddy boots welcome. Would stay again.

Visited today and had lunch with hubby. Fabulous that we could take our little dog in with us. Nice roaring log fire going which was very welcome on a cold day like today, and we ordered the 5 bean chilli with nachos with cheese and a side order of chips, only as the jackets weren't yet ready. The alternative that... More

Went to the wheatsheaf in Ingleton, with a couple of friends. A nice warm welcome in a traditional Yorkshire Pub. A good pint and good PUB food was on offer. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Will return.

Its a nice place to stay, service is good and food as well. Located within walkable distance from the waterfall trail and the white scare caves. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean(at least the one we stayed in).

We used to visit here regularly and always enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drink. Must say I think it had gone down over the years not as inviting as it used to be and there was nothing on the menu that inspired me to eat here when we just visited for the weekend we did call in for a drink...
