I have already stayed at the Wheatsheaf Inn in Ingleton before and have always had a nice stay therefore decided to take my dad there for his birthday weekend as we all love this part of the country and planned to do a walk / enjoy a few drinks and food. We booked a double room for my wife and... More

Had a two night stay, friendly staff and landlord. Pleasant bar and restaurant. Clean bedroom, shower room adequate (refurbishment in progress). Very good food, good choice of beers. Dog and muddy boots welcome. Would stay again.

Visited today and had lunch with hubby. Fabulous that we could take our little dog in with us. Nice roaring log fire going which was very welcome on a cold day like today, and we ordered the 5 bean chilli with nachos with cheese and a side order of chips, only as the jackets weren't yet ready. The alternative that... More

Went to the wheatsheaf in Ingleton, with a couple of friends. A nice warm welcome in a traditional Yorkshire Pub. A good pint and good PUB food was on offer. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Will return.

Its a nice place to stay, service is good and food as well. Located within walkable distance from the waterfall trail and the white scare caves. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean(at least the one we stayed in).

We used to visit here regularly and always enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drink. Must say I think it had gone down over the years not as inviting as it used to be and there was nothing on the menu that inspired me to eat here when we just visited for the weekend we did call in for a drink... I booked one night here on Last Minute Hotels website. It stated on my reservation that breakfast was included. On checking in I was asked if we wanted breakfast for an extra £7.50 each. I pointed out that it said when I booked that this breakfast was included, I could tell this was going to be an issue as there... More

Stayed for the Folk Weekend (a lot of which was happening at the Wheatsheaf). Clean, comfy warm, spacious but tired room that needs upgrading but they know this and out of their control. Vegetarian breakfast was good. WIFI connection did not function in our room and spasmodic elsewhere within the Inn. Friendly, no fuss staff and very lively pub. Beer mostly... More

Just returned from 3 days supporting a group of cyclists on a route across the Yorkshire Dales. Accommodation had already been booked by another member of our party.
