Stayed for 2 nights, and had a great time. Staff could not do enough to make us all feel welcome. Early set off not a problem, a packed breakfast ready at the bedroom door, including willow water. Full breakfast the next morning was good quality too. Rooms clean and good quality shower products. My friends stayed in the 4 poster room,... More

Was pre warned this place is nothing special...but you at least expect a comfortable bed. The bed was full of springs and uncomfortable. The bathroom is poor and in need of modernising. My boyfriend asked for an early breakfast as he was doing the fells man race. The breakfast only just appeared on time. Would have been better if it... More

Ingleton hasn't a great choice of eating places during the day at this time of year. The young barman provided a very warm, friendly welcome and gave good advice on the ales available. The lunch menu is typically pubby but there's a good choice of veggie burgers. The goat's cheese one is a bit pricey for a but but well... More

After having a lovely but tiring walk around Ingleton Waterfalls me and my boyfriend were ready for a well earned drink and after hearing "Good" reviews about the Wheatsheaf we headed here!! Disappointed sprung to mind with a very un-welcoming moody member of bar staff, she certainly let the place down and in turn discouraged us from staying to eat!!... More

Did a walk around the falls over the weekend and were looking for a place for lunch afterwards and saw the signs in the village for the Wheatsheaf so decided to try there. Outside it looked OK. Inside it was tired and a bit scruffy. All knocked into one room, which was a bit cheerless and not that cozy to... More

Stayed here as a couple in April 2015. Had the newly decorated four poster room which was lovely. No shortage of hot water. Bar had a good selection of ales and old mout cider was really nice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was delicious. In a great location in a quiet Dales... More

A very friendly welcome,a nice pint, decent breakfast, our room could have done with a lick of paint and a bit of an extra clean, though as we only paid £40 bandb we found it hard to complain. We cant comment on the food has we only had breakfast, but we did see a few dishes passing us and they looked tasty. All in... More

I have stayed here on a few occasions and the place has never failed to deliver. The staff are superb and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Its location in the heart o f the village is a big plus, and the restaurant is excellent. During my last visit the guest rooms were undergoing a revamp, and... More

I have already stayed at the Wheatsheaf Inn in Ingleton before and have always had a nice stay therefore decided to take my dad there for his birthday weekend as we all love this part of the country and planned to do a walk / enjoy a few drinks and food. We booked a double room for my wife and... More

Had a two night stay, friendly staff and landlord. Pleasant bar and restaurant. Clean bedroom, shower room adequate (refurbishment in progress). Very good food, good choice of beers. Dog and muddy boots welcome. Would stay again.
