I was one of a party of 14 who took over the entire place for the weekend. The accommodation was first class, lovely rooms and a lovely sitting room together with a kitchen for drink-making, a big log fire, cakes and sweets for us all. Breakfast was excellent and the whole stay was perfect and such good value. It's a... More

We've just come back from a short break to Leyburn, celebrating mum's belated birthday and stayed at this absolute gem of a place! The wonderful old house with lovely rooms, all beautifully clean and with lovely contemporary décor is a joy. Vic showed us round on arrival and was extremely helpful and friendly. There were freshly made ginger biscuits to... More

I usually have a flair for choosing excellent hotels and accomodation, this time I truly chose a gem. What a wonderful Guest House, immaculately clean, and decorated with much love and a superb eye. A true feeling home from home. Vic met us on arrival, he is very informative and nothing is too much trouble. The lovely sitting room, a... More

We stayed here as a couple in early November. On arrival we were greeted by Vic who offered to help with our bags. He showed us around the shared areas downstairs and we were amazed when we saw the fresh baking (chocolate cookies) and old fashioned sweets in jars that we could help ourselves to. We thought this was a... More

Vic, Thurza and their team looked after our group of walkers for a 2 night weekend away. They gave us a very warm welcome and were quick to provide everything we needed but not overbearing. The rooms were immaculately clean and well presented with everything you needed. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order and all our groups... More

We only stayed one night but hope to be back. The room and facilities were excellent. The welcome was warm and we particularly liked the availability of fresh milk for our tea tray. The home made, help yourself cake was also appreciated.

We stayed for one night in September while travelling through the Dales. We were greeted by a friendly young couple who were looking after the B&B while the owners were away. Our room at the top of the stairs and front of the property was a good size, clean and comfortable. The house is set back from the main road... More

Although we only stayed for just one night our room was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. We had everything we needed in our room and a beautiful view over the dales. A warm welcome from the hosts and the home made cake was delicious. Would highly recommend a stay at the beautiful house

Eastfield lodge was a lovely place to stay for a weekend away. Everything was spotlessly clean, we had an attractive, comfortable room and a very warm welcome (even freshly baked cake on arrival!). Lots of facilities are available- many that we didn't utilise on our short trip - such as a cupboard full of games and DVDs (DVD players in... More

An eight bed roomed guesthouse where hosts, Vic and Thurzer provide everything you could possibly need, either in your room or downstairs in the lounge which has its own small kitchen area. Rooms are beautifully presented, individual, spotless, and well equipped. Breakfasts are cooked fresh and flexible to your requirements, providing gluten free etc. We took over the whole house...
