You if are reading this and thinking about going just book it now, I was not going to write this as then to many might go then we would not able to get in. Very nice part of Yorkshire, Leyburn is a nice market town and is easy walking distance from Eastfield Lodge.

Stayed here for the fist time over Easter on a walking break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast, afternoon cakes and dinner were all tasty. We would definitely recommend .

We stayed here overnight prior to doing a running event from the town. On arrival we were greeted very warmly and offered what looked like a delicious piece of sponge cake, we stayed in room 2 which faces across the valley and as it was a very clear day we had great views. The room was large with an on... More

A warm welcome greeted us by the owners and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. Room 3 at the front was spacious and had everything you could possibly require during your stay. Breakfast was plentiful and all local produce. A pleasurable stay and would definitely return if staying in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Stayed here for the first time during an Easter walking break organised through Collett's holidays. We stayed in spacious room 2 with enticing views of some of our walk routes over the dales, and the bonus of tracing the progress of thoroughbreds training on the horse gallops on the horizon. The room was clean, comfortable and warm with plenty of... More

This is the third time we have stayed here in the last 2 years. Rooms, hospitality, and breakfast just great. Kirstie and Graham are great new hosts. We look forward to going back to Eastfield Lodge and to Leyburn soon. The houses has a "warm and friendly" feel to it.

Dave and I have just returned from a weekend break at Eastfield Lodge. A wonderful place with great hosts who couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were beautiful, and spotlessly clean. It was made even more special to come back to Eastfield and to be greeted with home made cakes and biscuits to go along side a cuppa. Fresh... More

My review would actually be almost identical to Joanna (the previous one) as myself and my friends took the place over for a weekend. It's a very comfortable, cosy place with nice bedrooms, nice lounge with a small kitchen for resident's use, a drying room for walkers and nice home-made cakes for afternoon tea. Excellent, tasty breakfast and the owners... More
