Stayed here over 10 years ago and have just returned to find still owned and run by Carol. The welcome, rooms and food are all of very high standard and would encourage anyone visiting this area to check this place out, we will certainly be going back.

Great B&B with fab breakfasts. Carol the proprietor was a lovely helpful person and a great cook! She even makes time to organise events like the village firework display - what a woman. The rooms are part of the orginal outbuildings and you have your own door out directly to the nice garden. Really quiet and peaceful place to unwind.... More

Carol Swift could not have been more helpful. Our room was welcoming and very comfortable. The surroundings were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. There was an excellent menu and the food was well cooked and well presented. We have already planned to return to this accommodation on our next visit to Helmsley.

Enjoyed an excellent 2 nights at Stilworth House. Carol really made us feel at home. B&B is right near town centre with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Great service, great location. Well worth a visit. George & Claire, East Yorks.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely place - took my parents (both late 80's, one semi disabled and the other with dementia) to celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary.
