Having just spent the weekend at Blakey Hall Farm with family and friends all I can say is 'Just book it'. It's a delightful place with some wonderful walks close by. Rachel is a perfect host and the beautifully decorated and furnished rooms are a credit to her and of course her husband. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous... More

In a lovely position near to the canal in beautiful countryside. Shortish walk, which is very pleasant along the towpath to Barrowford. Where you can eat, vist the heritage centre and explore the small amount of shops. It is ideally located to explore the surrounding area Pendle Hill, Wycoller etc There is plenty to do dependent upon what you want... More

This wasn't our first choice because we didn't know about it, but forget your hotels, even travel, the local taxi knows where the Farm is. Burnley or Colne are not too far. Ideal for all people alike couples, families, cyclists, walkers or just visiting the area as we were. Rachel makes a mean breakfast especially for that hangover or to... More

Stayed at Blakey Hall Farm whilst in the area for my sons wedding. We were not disappointed we were made to feel so welcome and Rachel makes Blakey Hall Farm a very friendly homely place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble we had our little dog with us and everything so so easy. Beautiful location we are looking at... More

We stayed here recently during a break, to visit the area where we had family connections. The reviews which we had read on Trip adviser did not disappoint. We had a warm welcome, and our room was very comfortable and pleasant. Rachel- thank you for a lovely breakfast. Your outgoing personality and obvious desire to please makes this a really... More

We recently spent a night here on our way back from a holiday in Yorkshire. We had stayed previously and it was just as good as we remembered. We had our dog with us and we were all made to feel very welcome. The dairy rooms, where we have stayed both times, are ideal for dog-owners and very comfortable. Breakfast... More

Went for a night away with my partner last year. Was fantastic, great room, love the bare brick walls. They are modern but still kept the charm of its heritage. Lovely breakfast, perfectly cooked and locally sourced. Will defiantly stay again. Also plenty of great restaurants about so you won't be stuck on what to eat. Beautiful area as well.

We stayed for two nights at this luxury B & B whilst attending a wedding at the Alma Inn some 3.5 miles away. The converted barn accommodation is brilliantly appointed and the owners were friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The breakfast was very good and all I can add is that... More
