My husband and I stumbled across this pub on Sunday and was very excited. The place looked lovely , view just breath taking. We walked in and first impressions was lovely, we was shown to our table in a large room which sadly felt like a function room. There was just no atmosphere. The staff had long faces and really... Enjoyed some nice food here in the evening. Mixed seafood platter was generous for two to share although I prefer potted shrimps cold on hot toast rather than served warm. Still tasty tho. Wife had monkfish which again was generous and really well cooked. I had scampi tail in batter which was excellent. Beers are fab too. Love it here... More

I couldn't wait until I arrived home to write this review, I am writing it whilst I am on the train. I have just spend two wonderful nights at The Alma Inn and I can't sing it's praises high enough. From my arrival to departure the staff were great every single one of them, nothing was too much problem for... More

Inside there was a nice log fire and staff were friendly The dining room has a function room next door and a band was playing which... More
