Just got back from a weekend break here , lovely friendly staff, nice clean facilities, a dog friendly site with plenty of walks and glorious views, secure area for the kids to play safely in. would highly recommend. G&L

Have just returned from a very short stay..Have camped here before and found everything to be fine..However this time the owners were rude, sarcastic and made us feel unwelcome. The owners should really take a good long look at themselves and decide if this is the right business for them!! they most certainly are NOT people friendly!!

We try and stay in Rowlands Wait every year, weather permitting.!!!!!!....It is a lovely campsite and the owners are fab....The shower blocks and toilets are always clean, and always seem to be available, never waited.....We always stay in the bottom field, which seems to attract the couples and groups, which is why we always choose it....We have been going there... Great place to stay. When it gets muddy it is really sticky (the type of soil). Fantastic showers. Handy laundry facility on site. Children thrilled to see glow worms and loads of toads. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here with a group of friends for the May Bank Holiday weekend (end of May). We usually avoid going anywhere on Bank Holidays, so was expecting it to be hideously busy, but were pleasantly surprised...the power pitches were fully booked, but the owners had the good sense not to overbook, so it didn't feel cramped and busy. The... More

Wonderful people running this place, fantastic location. the facilities for a site within a conservation area are good and always spotless. Loads of wildlife and birdsong, a variety of pitches in sun or shade near the woodland or out in the fields. This site is not lit at night so if you find a problem with that, easy, take a... More

Our first camping experience and what a great location to begin! A well run series of camping/caravan fields (pot luck in terms of pitch if you don't need electricity like us), but it worked well for us. Quiet, lots of shade and the kids loved it. Little walk for the shower block but worth the extra walk for the secluded... More

Had high hopes of the site having found it in Countryside Discovery but were very disappointed. We had informed the site when we booked several months before our visit that we had two cars, a gazebo plus tent. Were shocked when we arrived to discover that we had been allocated a pitch in an overcrowded section. There were two tents... More

My family and I camped at Rowlands Wait this year. I found the owners to be very helpful and knowledgable where the local area was concerned. We were camped in the bottom field of three, which is a long walk for kids to the Shower rooms / toilets, especially at night (no lights on the paths). Would suggest to the... More

This is a lovely place situated in Bere Regis, about a 5 minute drive from Monkey World. The site has modern and well kept facilities, including private shower cubicles. The wife and I were camping and set our tent in a field with a lovely view of the Dorset hills. The field is used for couples and groups where as... More
