Bit of a late review but spent 5 nights here in June 2014 with John and Alison who made us feel very welcome. Lovely place to stay and a fantastic location. Food excellent, room very nice and clean. Would come back and stop again if in the area.

If you like homely spacious comfort, this is for you. John & Alison are always welcoming and the breakfasts and afternoon cake are to be looked forward for and enjoyed. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance so good wine with a meal is not a problem.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay than here! The bedrooms and bathroom are super clean and shiney! The breakfast is delicious, anything you could wish for and served on beautiful white china and perfectly starched linen! We had a choice of chocolate or fruit cake with our tea which we looked forward to every afternoon too. John... More

from the wonderful welcome with tea and cake in the garden (which happened every afternoon) to the fabulously comfortable bed, spotless accommodation and the best breakfast ever Thomas Luny House cannot fail to impress any visitor. Alison and John are perfect hosts and the only downside of giving such a glowing recommendation is that I only hope it is not... More

This was our third visit to Thomas Luny House and, as always before, it was a wonderful experience. It is a beautifully kept Georgian house with four bedrooms, all decorated very individually, but all with extremely comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms and a welcoming feel. Alison and John make their visitors extremely welcome, breakfasts are delicious, starting with cereals, fresh fruit... More

My husband and I have just returned after spending six fantastic nights at this beautiful house. It is inviting, comfortable, warm, friendly, beautifully kept and Alison and John (the owners) are two of the loveliest people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble and every little detail was adhered to so our stay was perfect. The breakfast is... More

Spent two nights at this beautiful home with a fascinating history. Was made very welcome and was looked after spendidly. Photos of the interior dont seem to do it justice, the whole property is spot on, though for someone who lives a few miles from Heathrow, being awakened by seagulls is a bit of a culture shock

A wonderful house, sensitively restored and beautifully furnished. The rooms are very comfortable, spotlessly clean and superbly equipped, I slept very well and enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning - not to mention the tea and home made cakes on our return each afternoon! Wonderful hosts and a beautiful place to stay.

Best B&B my wife and I have ever visited. Exceptional care to detail and nothing to fault. The room was beautifully presented and breakfast scrumptious. Excellent choice at breakfast and ideally located for touring either by car or public transport. Complimentary afternoon tea and cake was most welcome after a day exploring. Cannot recommend too highly.
